jisung was in math class, and yet, math was the last thing on his mind. ever since minho found out about everything that has been going on all this time, he didn't contact jisung.
and jisung, being the absolute over-thinker and emotional person he is, didn't reach out to him either.

minho made it pretty clear he didn't want to do anything with him anymore, and jisung was going to respect that, no matter how much it really hurt him. it doesn't matter that minho thought he was someone else, they had an amazing bond, and amazing chemistry with each other. jisung could talk about anything with him, and minho would listen to him. he could show his weird side, say anything, and not be judged.

it truly felt like jisung lost an important friend.
and he didn't really have much of them in the first place, so you can imagine that it didn't feel exactly great.

with a sigh, jisung laid his head on the desk, closing his eyes. he didn't have to pay attention anyway.

now thinking about it, junho will be the one who's going to receive the group. he's the one that needs to do good at school. jisung's dreams laid elsewhere.

one really awesome thing about being the 'lesser' twin was the fact that his future didn't lay in his parents hands. he could do whatever he wanted, and no one was going to stop him.

he could go and be a song writer.
or a writer of novels and short horror stories.
just like he always wanted to.

sighing, jisung opened his eyes.
he wished minho had this opportunity too.

"you might be able to shoot your shot, soobin."
junho said, taking a drag from his cigarette.

"what do you mean?"
soobin was taken aback.

"something happened in our personal life and jisung has been feeling sad for a while. I tried to cheer him up, but I wasn't successful. maybe if you show that you're there for him, it could change his view on you."
junho said.

"really?"
soobin asked, a cheerful tone in his voice.

"probably. jisung is an emotional person who takes everything too seriously, and gets hurt a lot when it comes to feelings. that's something me and him don't have in common."
junho said.

"like many, many things junho. the only thing you and jisung share is your looks."
yeonjun snorted.

"fine."
junho rolled his eyes, before looking at soobin.
"trust me on this one. you can just spend some time with him, offer him support, and bam, you're going to slowly make your way up."

"but...I can't comfort people well."
soobin blinked.
"what if we get into a situation where I'll have to give him some advice, or be empathic? I literally can't do that, I'm not good with words."

"just simply being there for him will be enough."
junho waved him off.

"okay then."
soobin nodded.
"is he home yet?"

"nope, he's in school."
junho said.
"he should be returning in around an hour or so."

"oh, okay."
soobin said.
"I'm gonna go take a piss."

"enjoy it~"
junho called after him.

"don't miss us too much~"
yeonjun followed.
when the door closed, yeonjun looked at junho.
"you really want soobin and jisung to get together?"

junho shrugged.
"I said many times before that I think soobin is too big of an asshole for my brother, but if he's going to make him happy, I have nothing to say."

"and you don't find it weird that you're giving him a literal step by step tutorial on how to melt jisung's heart? he doesn't even know him that well, and all I can hear when you guys are talking about this is that soobin can't be what jisung needs. and I'm sure you see it too."
yeonjun said.

junho put the cigarette to his lips.
"jisung isn't stupid. a little naive? sure. but not stupid. and he can choose who he's going to date. if he actually ends up falling for soobin, I'm not going to go anything. if my brother is happy, I am happy. but if soobin ends up hurting him at the end because of how big of an asshole he is, he's going to regret it."

yeonjun shook his head.
"you're just keeping his hopes up with all of this advices on jisung. if you don't want an asshole to date your brother, stop encouraging it."

junho just shrugged.
"im not encouraging anything. I'm helping my friend."

"help your brother instead. don't let him date someone who's going to eventually break his heart."
yeonjun crossed his arms.

"if that ended up happening I would kill soobin myself."
junho said, his voice cold.
"and you should be aware of how rich my parents are to know that these aren't just empty words.

yeonjun would be lying if he said he wasn't terrified. the tone in his voice, the stare, yet saying such a things with relaxed body...
junho was truly insane.

jisung was walking down the stairs in front of the school, his earbuds in, as he was trying to find the best song to play.
he looked up for a few seconds, and what he saw made his eyes wide.
minho was standing there, leaning against his car, their eyes meeting.

for a few moments, jisung didn't do anything. when his mind finally started functioning again, he pulled the cable from the earphones, the earphones falling from his ears, before he walked down the stairs.

"hi."
minho said, his voice without any emotion.
jisung wondered if this was the voice he learned to use when speaking to customers and sponsors.

"hello."
jisung said quietly, playing with his fingers.

for a few moments, there was an awkward silence between them, before minho let out a sigh.
"would you...do you have some time to spear?"

jisung nodded.
"I-I guess so."

minho blinked slowly, before pointing at the passenger seat door with his jaw.
"then you're gonna use that time to explain everything to me. and I mean EVERYTHING."
