"so, tell me."
jisung sighed.
"what do I need to know?"

jisung was currently in junhos room, while junho was getting him ready on the blind date.

"the guy's name is lee minho. he's two years older then us. typical rich kid. brown hair, sly smirk, muscular..."

"do you have any photo so I know how he looks like?"
jisung asked.

"no silly, it's called a blind date for a reason."
junho chuckled, putting a powdered blush on jisungs cheeks.
"gotta make sure you're pretty for him."

"anything else mom and dad told you?"

"he's the son and the heir of the lee technologies. he's going into different school, so there is zero chance you know him personally."

"well that's a relief."
jisung said.

"look. it's very simple. he's an heir of a huge company, and you and I both know what that means. spoiled rich guy who's throwing his parents money at everyone. he's probably gonna talk about himself the entire time, so your job will be easier. when you will act like you're not interested in his stories and him in general, he won't like you."
junho said, putting the make up away.
"aww! look how beautiful my brother looks like!"

jisung sighed.
"why did I agree to this?"

"because you're an amazing brother."
junho answered.
"and you're also getting 100 000won and four chocolate bars."

"right."
jisung nodded.
"I can't believe I'm so stupid."

"hey, maybe it will be fun."
junho shrugged.

"oh I can imagine."
jisung rolled his eyes.

"look, it's only gonna be for a few hours, and you're gonna have an amazing meal."
junho said, putting his hand on jisung's shoulders.
"just make him not like you. that's all you have to do. so basically just be yourself."

"fuck you."
jisung glared at his twin.

"that's the spirit."
junho clapped his hands.
"you're already pro at it."

"you do realize in how big of a trouble we would get if mom and dad found out about this?"
jisung asked.

"yes, that's why it's our little secret."
junho answered.
"dad should drive you there, so you just have to act like you're super annoyed that you have to go and keep your mouth shut."

"I am super annoyed that I have to go there."
jisung said.

"well then you don't have to act like it. better for you."
junho smiled.

"what we're doing is actually insane."

"you're making a big deal out of it."

"the fuck I'm not. but have you realized that mom and dad will find everything out when you will return home drunk?"
jisung whisper-yelled.

"that's why I won't be returning."
junho answered.
"since you're me and I am you, I told mom that you, aka me, are sleeping over at Felix's place. which means that if I'm not here when our parents return, it won't be weird. I will just stay at meejin's house and return home around noon tomorrow."

"you're actually crazy."
jisung shook his head.

"I would say I'm really smart, but okay."
junho playfully rolled his eyes.
"I know you're annoyed, but don't forget that you agreed."

"you bribed me with Hershey's chocolate bars, I don't think I had much of a choice here."

"and don't forget the 100 000won as well."

jisung rolled his eyes.
"I should have insisted on the 110 000won."

"too bad too sad, it's too late. you already agreed."
junho said, walking towards the door.
"I will be leaving around the same time as you, maybe earlier, so I'm not sure if I will see you before your date, so I want to wish you a good luck on your date. please be as unpleasant as you can."

"thanks. I will need that luck."
jisung sighed, before he heard the door open and close, junho leaving the room.

•~•

jisung was sitting by a private table for two, his leg shaking, while he stared in front of him.
he was currently waiting for his date to arrive.

he was here a bit early.
he especially wanted that, so he would have some time to mentally prepare himself for this.
gosh, he really shouldn't have agreed to this nonsense.

now, his brother is at some party having fun, while he is here, on a date his brother should be at, scared out of his mind.

he took out his phone and checked junhos Instagram.
of course that fucker had about twenty stories there.
some of them were pictures with his friends, or videos of him doing some drinking challenges.

jisung shook his head.
his brother was truly something.

"it's only a one time thing, it's okay jisung."
jisung whispered to himself, looking around.

he was in a private space, so he had some space from all the tables, but he could see them.
different people were around here. families with small kids eating their dinner while laughing together, people in a relationship having their date here, their eyes filled with love, or just some girlfriends catching up, drinking wine and eating salads.

it was interesting.
everyone around here was so...different.

sometimes jisung wondered if his life would be different if he was born into a different family.
to a middle class family, who was living from paycheck to paycheck, but even then, they were a happy family.

jisung knew his parents didn't really love each other anymore.
god, he didn't even know if they ever did love each other in a first place.

their marriage was arranged, so it wasn't like they had the time to actually catch some feelings towards each other then.
but it's been twenty years since they got married, that's a long time.
and besides, two years into the marriage, they had jisung and junho.
that didn't mean they loved each other tho.
it was expected of them to give birth to children soon after their marriage.

maybe his life would be also different if there was an actual love between his parents.
growing up with parents that didn't love each other meant that jisung never really understood love.
it was a thing that jisung was afraid of, because he didn't ever experience it.

sometimes he wish he did tho.

"are you my date?"
