the sun was shining bright as jisung walked towards a cinema. for the first time in forever, he was actually on time for something. and indeed, he felt proud about that.
turning up the corner, the huge building came into view, together with his date waiting for him in front of it.
jisung gave him a small smile as he approached.
"hi."
"hi."
soobin smiled back.
"glad you made it in time."
he said in a teasing tone, slightly nudging jisung.
"hey! It's not like I'm doing it in purpose."
jisung defended.
"and besides, at least I always try and still get to the location in time. you have no idea how many calories I burned thanks to this."
soobin snorted.
"sure. let's go inside, shall we?"

an empty popcorn container fell into the trash bin.
"oh my god, this movie was so good! I hope they make a sequel."
jisung said, clapping his hands.
"I don't think they will make a sequel, but I have to admit, I really enjoyed the movie."
soobin nodded.
"besides, you know how it is with the sequels. usually they ruin the first movie."
"I mean...sometimes. but sometimes the second movie is even better then the first one!"
jisung argued.
"sure, whatever you say."
soobin waved his hand.
the two of them walked out of the projecting room, and started walking towards the exit, talking about the movie they just watched, and about their next plans for the day, because the night was still young. and both of them were kinda hungry.
"jisung?"
hearing his name, jisung turned to the direction of the rather familiar voice. and then, he saw it.
minho and junho were standing few feet away, looking at them trough the crowd of people.
"oh my god, what are you guys doing here?"
jisung said, walking towards the two, soobin following few centimeters behind.
"parents forced us to go on this movie."
junho explained.
"oh my god, didn't that also happen to us?"
jisung looked at minho.
minho smiled slightly.
"yeah, it did. but the movie we were on was shit. this movie was actually pretty enjoyable."
"you're right."
jisung chuckled.
"I'm more interested in what you two are doing here."
minho said, his voice natural.
"we're on a date."
soobin answered, a bit roughly.
minho's eyebrows raised slightly, before looking at jisung, who just nodded.
"yeah, the tickets were cheap."
he said.
"I see."
minho breathed out, almost in a whisper.
junho furrowed his eyebrows. even he could feel the tension.
"uhm. we should double date again...someday. if you guys want to."
"that sounds fun."
jisung smiled.
"the coffee shop we were at the last time had amazing tea. or should we try something different?"
"we didn't even agree if we wanted to go on the double date."
soobin said, his eyes never leaving minho. but minho's eyes never left jisung.
"oh."
jisung blinked, a bit surprised.
"well, we will talk about it I guess."
"I guess."
junho repeated, looking minho up and down.
"we're gonna go. we still have some plans. we wanted to stop by some quick and cheap fast food and get dinner, we'll see you later."
soobin said, bowing slightly and turned around to leave.
jisung was about to follow, but then, a hand gently grabbed his wrist, and started leading him away. he turned his head around, only to realize that it was minho.
"minho? what the fuck are you-"
minho lead them into the restrooms, closing the door the second they got inside.
"what's going on?"
jisung asked.
"I...I wanted to talk to you."
minho said, his voice anything but confident.
jisung furrowed his eyebrows.
"okay? then why drag me here? we could have talked in the hallway."
"I wanted us to have some privacy."
minho said.
jisung was even more confused.
"you're kinda scaring me."
"I just...."
minho breathed out trough his nose.
"...there is something I need to tell you. something that has been on my mind for so long, and I couldn't get rid of it, as much as I wanted."
jisung blinked, but stayed silent.
minho was looking right into his eyes. even though jisung and junho were identical, their eyes were different. jisung had this...spark in them. light, that reflected his soul. something that not even junho had. and something that minho fell in love with.
"I..."
he started, mustering all of his courage.
"...I li-"
the door of the restrooms opened, and soobin walked inside, his eyes cold. jisung jumped slightly.
soobin's eyes traveled to jisung, then to minho, back to jisung, and then, back to minho.
"didn't they teach you it is inappropriate to steal someone else's date?"
he said, making his way to jisung.
"I needed to talk to him. alone."
minho said.
"then meet him some different day. when it's not our date."
soobin said, grabbing jisung's wrist. his hold was harsher then minho's. he turned to jisung.
"let's go."
he started leading jisung away from the restrooms.
minho stood there for a moment, collecting his thoughts. all he needed was five more seconds, and he would be able to tell jisung how he felt. but of course, the universe was not on his side.
with a sigh, he made his way back into the hallway, where a really confused junho was still standing. he didn't move an inch since minho left into the restrooms with jisung.
"what the hell just happened?"
junho blinked.
"nothing."
minho said, shrugging.
"should we go? I'll drop you off."
"yeah, I think I had enough adventures today. I'm tied, my bed and cigarettes are calling my name."
junho said. but then, his face got serious.
"but minho, are you sure there isn't something you would like to tell me?"
minho blinked, caught off guard, before quickly shaking his head.
"no. why would there even be something I wanted to tell you?"
"you never know."
junho shrugged.
"should we go?"
"mhm, yeah."
minho nodded, and the two of them left the cinema.
