jisung:
if you could choose how to die,
what would you pick?

minho opened his phone, shaking his head in pure disbelief.

minho:
why are you asking me this
question?
are you planning on killing
me or something?

jisung:
noo, I would be sad :(
I'm working on a new song, I need
inspiration.

minho:
really?
what it will be about?

jisung:
you're gonna have to wait to find out.
it's not even done yet, can't tell u.
I'm just letting my genius mind
speak for itself atm.

minho:
will you sing it to me as a lullaby? :)

jisung:
maybe, if you will say please nicely ;)
you didn't reply to my question tho.

minho though for a few moments.

minho:
if I had to choose how to go, it would be
while my closest people are present, people
who make me happy, and people I care about.

jisung:
hmmm.
I would want to choke on my
favorite food and die.

minho:
wow, so poetic.

jisung:
right?
might make a song about
spaghetti next.

minho:
please do.
oh carbonara sauce, carbonara sauce,
let your spaghetti down.
see that reference? :)

jisung:
oh damn that's genius.
kinda jealous I didn't came
up with that.

minho:
call me fucking Shakespeare.
anyway what are you up to?

jisung:
writing songs dumbass I just told you.
what about you rapunzel?

minho:
nothing much.
wanna hang out?

jisung:
I'm lazy to get ready and get out of
my bed, so no thanks.
don't take this personally pls.

minho:
don't worry, I get that :)
also I can't really blame you, we have
been hanging out a lot, I wouldn't be
surprised if you grew sick of me.

jisung:
that's not the case.
I enjoy spending time w u :)

"he enjoys spending time with me."
minho whispered, looking into nowhere with the biggest smile on his face.

chan smacked him with his rolled up magazine.
"okay, we get it. now get up, we need to practice."
he said.

"and here I was thinking I'm the worst when I'm in love."
hyunjin snorted.
"you're so whipped minho it's not even funny anymore."

minho rolled his eyes, before obliging and getting up with a grunt.
"right, right."

"how is it going on with him anyway?"
chan asked.
"did you get the courage to finally tell him you like him?"

"as if."
hyunjin chuckled.

minho shot him a glare, before looking back at chan.
"it's complicated. I don't think we're in that stage yet."

"and what about that weird feeling of yours? do you finally have him figured out?"
hyunjin asked, sitting down on one of the chairs in the room, taking the magazine from chan and flipping trough the pages.

"I thought I did, but on our last date, I found out I didn't."
minho sighed.
"one time he tells me he hates coffee, and then suddenly can't wait to get it. we spend a lot of time together, and I saw him smoke twice. I don't know i just...sometimes, just sometimes, I get a feeling as if I was talking to a completely different person."

"I think you're overthinking it."
hyunjin said.
"everyone is allowed to have a bad day. maybe it's just something like this, have you thought about that?"

chan nodded.
"hyunjin is onto something. I wouldn't keep my head in it. stop thinking about it and everything will be easier."

minho sighed.
"only if it was that simple."
he said.
"it's just...something I can't ignore."

hyunjin sighed.
"dude, that's how you're gonna drive yourself insane."
he said, before getting up and going to the speaker, turning the volume of it on.
"we're going here every once in a while just to relax and dance. use this time to stop thinking about him."

chan started moving in the rhythm of the song, walking to minho and taking his hands.
"listen to hyunjin, minho. shut your brain off and let the music lead you."

minho chuckled, before staring to move in the same way chan was moving, letting out quiet laughs as hyunjin joined as well, and before any of them knew it, they were each dancing in their own style, as if they all were in their own little world.

and it was exactly what minho needed.

the han family was sitting around a table, eating their dinner in silence.

"so, me and your father have been thinking."
mrs. han said.
"since everything has been going well with junho and minho, how about we invited them over for a dinner?"

jisung and junho both froze in their tracks.

"is that really necessary?"
junho asked.
"it would be weird hanging here with both you and his parents."

"I think it's an amazing idea."
their mom said.
"we would all get closer, and maybe come up with some plans for future."

"like what?"
junho said.

"well I don't know, maybe we could all go and see a play together, apparently the lee's like to do that a lot."
their dad shrugged.

junho snorted.
"don't make me laugh. me and watching plays?"

"you will. it's time for you to grow up."
mrs. han said, her tone everything but sweet.
"so, next week, Thursday, five pm. I expect you to behave your best."

"uhm, do I have to be a part of it? I kinda have plans with felix."
jisung said.

"oh, that's okay. if you already have plans you don't have to cancel then."
mrs. han waved her hand.
"besides, it's mostly about minho and junho."

jisung mentally let out a relieved sigh.
"alright then, thank you."

junho and jisung connected eyes for a few seconds, before both of them started eating their food again, acting like nothing happened.
