A/N: before we start this chapter, there is something you need to know to understand. in my country, we celebrate the day of love on the 1st of may. it's something like a Valentine's Day ( which we also celebrate ), but a bit less important. you kiss your significant other under a cherry blossom tree, we build a maypole, and it's a symbol of welcoming spring. it's not that important, but I thought that building this chapter around this day would be sweet :)

minho walked down the stairs and made his way into the kitchen. he was watching a movie and some snack was exactly what he needed.

his mom was also in the kitchen, making herself some coffee.
"oh minho, good. I need to talk to you."
she said.

"mhm. what is it?"
minho asked.

"as you know, it's 1st of may tomorrow."
his mom started.
"and I think it would be cute if you went on a date with junho, especially on this day."

minho blinked.
"uhm, I-"

"you can't say no. it's already confirmed with junho, and I know well you don't have any plans."
his mom smiled
"and what can you know, maybe you will see a cherry blossom tree."
she said teasingly, before taking her coffee and leaving the kitchen.

minho just sighed.
did he even have a choice?
not really.

and then, his phone buzzed.
it was a message from junho.

junho:
just found out about the date.
u wanna go?

minho:
not really.

junho:
me neither. we have to go unfortunately.
but how about I took jisung and soobin w me,
and we can turn it into a double date so it would be less miserable?
( nothing against you mate ;) )
besides, soobin likes jisung, and this
could be a good way to finally motivate
him to do something about it.

minho just stared at his phone.
feelings?
he already thought so when he saw how soobin acted towards jisung at the dinner, but hearing it out loud? it wasn't a nice feeling.

minho:
sure.

junho:
great, I'll let them know.
see ya tmr.

minho turned off his phone and started walking back into his room, the thoughts about the snack already gone, and instead, being filled with jisung.

did he like soobin back?

junho and soobin were standing in front of a coffee shop the four of them agreed to meet up, sharing a cigarette. and then, a rather familiar face made their way towards them.

"hello."
minho said with a polite smile.

"oh, you're on time, amazing."
junho clapped his hands.

minho nodded, before looking around.
"where is jisung?"

junho let out the biggest sigh, burying his head in his hand, before taking the cigarette from soobin.
"he's late, as always. there was some school thing he needed to be at before this, but he told me that he would make it in time."

soobin chuckled, taking the cigarette back and taking a drag.
"it's jisung, what to do expect?"

"is that something jisung is known for?"
minho laughed.
"I mean, he has been late to some of our dates, but I had no idea that it's a regular thing."
