junho breathed out a smoke, getting comfortable in the bean bag he was now lying on, before looking at soobin.
"what are you so smiley about?"

"ah, it's nothing."
soobin waved his hand.

"I know this look very well soobin, what is it?"
junho gave the cigarette to yeonjun.

"well...I'm going out with jisung today."
soobin smiled.

"oh is the choi soobin finally doing some progress?"
yunho raised his eyebrows.

"we will see. if everything goes well I might ask him out on a real date. I'm not really sure about it yet though."
soobin said, a little shy.

"isn't it a bit too fast? how many times did you guys hang out alone? like three times?"
yeonjun asked.

"yeah, but he always tells me that he enjoys spending time with me. I really want to ask him out on a date, but I'm scared i will mess it all up. it took jisung years to notice me, i don't want to ruin it with one question."
soobin sighed.

"jisung would probably say yes even if he didn't want to. he wouldn't want you to feel bad."
junho said, looking at his friend.
"you never know."

"does he...I don't know...ever talk about me with you?"
soobin asked.

"we don't talk with each other about these things. well, at least, he doesn't like sharing these things with me, so I can't give you a proper answer."
junho shrugged.

"soobin if the hang out goes well, ask him."
yeonjun encouraged.

"exactly."
junho nodded.
"you never know, maybe he also started growing feelings for you."

"that soon? I really don't think so."
soobin shook his head, letting out a sigh.

"well, you have been hanging out with him quite a lot. besides, feelings don't know time."
yeonjun shrugged.

"don't say that to him. there isn't such a thing as a love at first sight."
junho rolled his eyes.

"okay, you guys are just discouraging me at this point."
soobin sighed.
"here is what im gonna do. we're gonna hang out, and if everything goes well, then i will ask him if he would like to go on dinner."

"no, don't do that."
junho immediately said.
"jisung doesn't like public and formal places as much, and being in a restaurant will change how he's acting, and he will probably be just uncomfortable."

"wait, but didn't he have a good time with minho?"
yeonjun suddenly asked.
"I mean, you told us the story. jisung was supposed to make him uncomfortable and uninterested, but they ended up having a great time. if he feels bad in formal places and restaurants, how is it possible that he was able to act like himself with minho?"

"that's a really good question."
soobin said.
"are you just telling me this so I wouldn't ask jisung on a date? junho, I know that you don't really like the idea of me dating him, but-"

"no, I'm serious. he really hates these places."
junho said.
"that's why I was also really surprised when the lee's reached out to our parents and told them that the dinner was a success. but look, minho is a nice guy, maybe he just made him comfortable, and they had a nice time together. well, they had to, when we're in this situation to begin with."

"but he seems pretty comfortable with me as well."
soobin argued.

"I don't think it's the same thing."
junho said.
"look, I'm really telling you this in your best interest. I already told you what jisung's ideal date is, but I know that you don't like that, so just suggest to...I don't know, get jasmine tea, and then go look at books, and buy him one. that's the best thing you could do, I believe."

"please, jisung is the richer one out of us."
soobin said.
"besides, im broke."

"how are you going to ask him out on a date when you're broke? did your brain take a vacation dude, or was it always gone?"
yeonjun face palmed himself.

"what was your plan in the first place? you literally wanted to ask him out on a dinner to a restaurant!"
junho shook his head disappointingly.

"well, I thought that maybe your parents would save us seats."
soobin scratched the back of his neck.

"wow, and the award for the worst date idea ever goes to....choi soobin, congratulations!"
yeonjun clapped.

"my parents don't like you enough to do something like this for you. to be exact they don't like you at all. besides, it would definitely not be for free."
junho said.

soobin sighed.
"yeah, you're right. I have no idea why I even assumed this in the first place."

junho suddenly got up with a grunt.
"I'm gonna go take a piss, be right back."
he said, exiting his room.

yeonjun looked at soobin.
"how about you just took him to a cinema? they have some ticket sales, so you can get them for pretty cheap. besides, jisung likes movies, so it could be really nice."

soobin blinked, before a smile grew on his face.
"oh my god, that's perfect! thank you yeonjun."

"I heard there is a new horror movie coming up, maybe take him on that."
yeonjun suggested.
"but don't buy the tickets until he actually accepts the offer on a date."

"I wouldn't do that anyway. I at least want to make sure that the movie we choose will be something jisung will like."
soobin said.

"see? it's not that hard, is it?"
yeonjun raised his eyebrows.

soobin sighed, looking down.
"I'm just...really inexperienced when it comes to these stuff. jisung was literally my first crush, and I never felt anything for somebody else. I really need to get better if I want to date jisung, though. he reads all these romantic books, I'm pretty sure his standards are super high."

"just watch some romantic movies, and you should be better by at least by 5 percent."
yeonjun chuckled, throwing an unopened can with beer at soobin.
"drink this before you go, and relax."

"thanks."
soobin gave yeonjun a small, yet grateful smile.

he really had an awesome friend, maybe he should appreciate him more.
