junho was indeed walking to the meeting spot the next day, ten minutes earlier then the set time.
he would use this minutes very wisely, and continue staring at the world with the most annoyed expression on his face.
because he indeed, was super annoyed.
yeonjun apparently found a new weed they could smoke, and according to the person he bought it from, it was better then anything they ever had before. junho was so excited to try it today, and see if it's actually that good, but now, because of this date, he couldn't.
and his friends really decided to put salt on the wound when they send him a picture.
yeonjun:
*picture*
this shit is too good, it's a shame
you can't be here
we're thinking about you mate, hope you're
having fun ;)
junho rolled his eyes.
"fucking bastard."
he whispered under his breath.
he was just about to respond, when he spotted a familiar figure slowly walking towards him.
"hi."
minho said, a small smile on his face.
"hi."
junho put the phone in his pocket.
"you're here early today, huh?"
minho said, a bit amused.
"yeah, I decided to surprise you and actually be on time for once."
junho snorted.
"let's go grab the coffee. I didn't have one the entire day and it's all I can think about right now."
minho blinked a couple of times, before collecting himself.
"yeah, good idea."
the walk to the coffee shop was...strangely awkward. normally the conversation flowed easily, but now, neither of them seemed to know how to even start one.
so they just walked in silence, until they reached the coffee shop.
as was his usual habit, minho held the door for junho, junho saying him a quick thank you before walking inside.
"so what do you want?"
junho asked, looking at the menu.
"it's my turn to pay."
"oh I know, you would murder me if I paid now."
minho said.
"I can't really decide between iced coffee or if I just want a regular cappuccino."
"it's march. terrible month to decide. it's still colder, so perfect for cappuccino. at the same time, today's weather is really nice, and you can't really go wrong with the iced coffee as well."
junho shrugged.
"that's what I'm saying."
minho groaned.
"it's impossible to pick."
"well then let the fate decide."
junho suggested.
"we're going to play one game of rock paper scissors. if I win, you're going to get the iced coffee, and if you win, you're going to get the cappuccino. how's that?"
minho nodded.
"sounds fun. and if I don't like what I get I can blame it on you."
junho snorted at that, before closing his fist, minho doing the same thing.
"rock, paper scissors, shoot!"
both of them said at the same time.
junho chose rock.
minho scissors.
"well it seems like you're getting the iced coffee."
junho said with a small smile.
"what size do you want?"
"medium."
minho simply said.
"hello, what can I get you today?"
the girl behind the counter said, a charming smile on her face.
"right, can I get one iced coffee, medium, and one black coffee please?"
junho said.
minho looked him up and down.
"alright, anything else for you?"
the girl asked.
"no thank you."
junho pulled out his card.
the two of them walked to the side, waiting for their coffees.
"I don't think that I was ever here."
junho said, looking around.
"is the coffee here good?"
minho nodded.
"mhm. I go here with my parents a lot, or just to hang out with my friends. the coffee is amazing, and I'm not even talking about the baked goods. gosh I should have ordered one when you're the one paying."
he sighed.
junho playfully rolled his eyes at that, letting out a small chuckle.
after getting their order, the two of them made their way out. this time, junho was the one holding the door for minho.
"you were right, this coffee is so good! I have to come here much more often, it's near my school as well."
junho said, taking a sip.
minho stopped walking.
"you're not the person who I went on the blind date with, are you?"
junho choked on his coffee, eyes wide.
how did he know?
no, how could have he find out in the first place?
junho was always careful, and jisung as well.
"w-what do you mean?"
"you're not my junho."
minho said.
"I-I am!"
junho tried to convince him, but he was so caught off guard with this situation, that it didn't sound convincing at all.
"let's see."
minho crossed his arms.
"you ordered, even tho I know that junho hates ordering stuff and talking with people, you're currently holding a coffee, even tho junho doesn't like coffee as much and always drinks jasmine tea."
junho looked down on his cup.
fuck.
"when we had the dinner with our families, you said your favorite book was madam's parrot. on our blind date junho made it clear he loved dying desire."
minho said, his eyes moving slightly.
"and you don't have a scar behind your ear."
junho put some of his hair behind his ear, looking down.
what the fuck was he supposed to do now?
"so, tell me the truth. now."
minho said, his tone demanding.
for a while, junho thought about denying all of it.
but at the end, he just let out sigh, giving up.
"you're right. I am not the person you went on the blind date with. and on the many, many dates after that."
he admitted.
"I knew it."
minho whispered.
"then who are you? and where is junho?"
"oh don't get me wrong."
junho chuckled bitterly.
"I am han junho, the heir of han group. nice to meet you. although we did see each other
a...couple of times."
minho furrowed his eyebrows.
"then...who is that person-"
"I have a twin. han jisung."
junho said.
"he was the one going on all of these dates with you. and he was the one who you met on the blind date."
minho's eyes widened, just slightly.
"a...twin?"
he whispered, looking down.
junho looked away, the weight of his own actions falling on his shoulders.
he didn't say anything.
"if you're gonna ask any more questions, maybe you should ask jisung."
minho looked up.
"take me to him."
