jisung laid in his bed, watching the ceiling, the date he had with minho last week still on his mind.

he couldn't figure out what stopped him from telling minho the truth.
he had the perfect opportunity, but didn't use it.
why?

junho's words couldn't get to him. as much as it didn't seem like it, they were close, but his words never influenced how he acted.
so...why didn't he?
was he afraid that minho would never speak to him again?

a ding sound brought him out of his thoughts.
jisung took his phone, seeing a message from minho.

minho:
date tmr? :)

jisung closed his eyes.
he just...couldn't, not right now.
he put his phone on 'do not disturb', before reaching for a book he started reading ages ago, yet didn't have the time to finish.

he's strong.
he's gonna get trough this, and tell minho someday.
even tho it will break minho's heart.
and maybe...even his.

hyunjin was humming to himself. he was on his way to a dance practice with minho and chan, and since he had some time to spend, he decided to stop by to buy some sudoku from a tobacconist.
he was almost finished with the ones he had at home, and playing sudoku games on his phone just didn't satisfy him enough as normal one on a paper did.

with a ding, he walked inside the shop.
he looked around.
the shop was small, maybe even too small for his liking, finding sudoku here would be a piece of cake.

someone else entered the shop.
hyunjin didn't pay attention to them at all.
why the hell would be?
and besides, he found his sudoku.

with a smile, he stood behind the guy, trying to find his wallet in his bag.
that's when the person in front of him finished their purchase and decided to leave. they didn't know hyunjin was behind them tho, and they bumped into hyunjin, causing them to drop their cigarettes, and hyunjin his wallet.

"oh, I'm so sorry, i forgot how small these shops are."
hyunjin chuckled slightly as he bend down.
he picked up his wallet, and he was about to reach for the cigarettes as well, trying to be polite and lift them up for the person, but that guy immediately bended and lifted them up himself.

"watch where the fuck you stand."
he said, obviously annoyed.
"don't you realize that when I need to leave I'm not gonna have any space when you stand few centimeters from me? learn what personal space mean, fucking dumbass."
with that, the guy started angrily walking away, pushing hyunjin with his shoulder in the process.

hyunjin just blinked, trying to process what the hell just happened.
and why the hell did that face look familiar?

minho was the first one to arrive into the gym.
that's how it was most of the time.

with a smile, he turned on the lights and walked to the chairs, putting his stuff down, before trying to take off his jacket.

he, hyunjin and chan have been working on a new choreography that they would like to dance together at the end of the school year's performance, and in a way, minho was excited.
he would have a chance to show that he's much more then the smart, rich, and cold son of the lee technologies.
he would be able to show his emotions trough this choreography, and his best friends would be the one telling the story with him.

since he was here a bit earlier then the scheduled time, he decided to just chill in the meantime.
chan should arrive soon, and if the traffic would be good, so should hyunjin.

being alone in the gym was...oddly comforting. the gym was newly renovated, the smell was amazing ( for a gym ), and just being in a place like this immediately brought Minho's mood up, and his motivation to dance skyrocketing.

as he scrolled on his phone, he was getting so many ideas about the choreography. he thought about many things to add, or change so it would match the beat of the song perfectly.
hyunjin was the beat dancer, someone who always moved sharply with the beat, so he would definitely appreciate this thing added in, and he would look so good during it.

minho chuckled to himself.
if he could, he would put millions of movies into the choreography.

suddenly, the door of the gym opened, and hyunjin walked inside, his step a bit slower then usual, and cautious.

"hi."
minho smiled when he noticed hyunjin walking in, but got a little taken aback when he noticed hyunjin was looking like he was really deep in thought.
"you're okay?"

"I think I met your Prince Charming in a tobacconist."
hyunjin said.

"really?"
minho said.
"and why do you look so surprised about it?"

"because he was a complete asshole."
hyunjin scoffed.
"he was mean, and arrogant. like what the fuck I thought you said he was the sweetest person ever!"

"that's because...he is."
minho said, taken off guard by hyunjin's words.
"are you sure it was him? it could have been someone similar."

"oh I'm 100% sure it was him."
hyunjin said.
"he was literally the same guy from the skate park. he was even wearing the same hoodie."

"what happened exactly?"
minho asked.

"I did absolutely nothing, I just stood behind him, ready to buy my sudoku, and when he turned around we bumped into each other. he started cursing me out before purposely pushing me with his shoulder, like what the fuck."
hyunjin groaned, putting his things on a chair.
"I just wanted to get my sudoku man."

minho furrowed his eyebrows.
"that sounds nothing like him."

"have you ever maybe thought that you don't know him at all?"
hyunjin suddenly said, looking up at minho.
"all you ever talk about is how much he confuses you, and how you can't figure him out. maybe that's a sign minho. maybe this is his real self, and you're just too blind to see it."

minho just blinked.
the message left on seen from junho in his mind.
what if...hyunjin was right?
