Chapter 15

Chad's POV//

I sat by myself in the living room thinking about what had just happened.

I can't believe she was scared about me cheating on her. I'd never do that.

I can see why she's mad though.

She's right, if she invited one of her ex's to her party I'd be mad too.

I felt someone sit beside me. I looked up and saw Sherri smiling at me.

"Hey," she said.

"Oh..uh..hi," I said back.

"Don't worry about her. She doesn't deserve a sweet guy like you," she said.

"What?"

"Hayley. She was really horrile earlier."

"No she wasn't. I can see why she is mad. I just can't believe she'd think I'd cheat on her."

"Don't worry baby," she said as she put her arm around me.

I froze.

What is going on?

"I'm not worrying. I-I gotta find Hayley," I said as I tried getting up.

She pulled me back down and started rubbing my thigh.

"Stay with me baby. Me and you, we worked. Listen, Hayley and I were talking a minute ago and she was telling me that she can't love you anymore."

"Wha-" I felt a lump in my throat. Tears welled up in my eyes. "What do you mean?"

"It's what she said. I told her she didn't mean it and that she was just angry but she didn't listen. Come here," she said as she pulled me into a hug.

"Sorry, but I don't need anyone's comfort right now."

"Kiss me," she whispered as she leaned in.

"No," I said as I backed away.

She pinned me down on the couch and straddled me.

"Get off!" I yelled.

"Baby," she giggled in a high pitched voice.

"Sherri, get the fuck off."

"Why? Who else is gonna love you?" She said as she pressed her lips against mine.

I pushed her off with force and got up off the couch.

"I love Hayley!" I yelled.

"You love me! Hayley doesn't even want you!"

"She may not want me, but that doesn't automatically mean that I want you!" I spat.

She grabbed my shirt and pulled me closer.

"You are mine," she said.

"Get out of my house," I said pushing her off.

"Hear me out. Hayley told me that she was only dating you because she felt sorry for you. It's horrible right? She said that you and me are a better couple than you and her will ever be. Do you remember the night we met baby?" She said, grabbing my hand.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed my cheek.

"I know it's hard to hear, but baby, we can finally be together again," she said as she ran her hands all over me.

I sighed.

"My Hayley would never say that!" I yelled as stormed away.

Sherri went in the bathroom so I went back in the living room.
