Lapis Lazuli was an experiment gone wrong, the only gem of her kind. She was something that not even the Quartz's could ever be- unique.
"Umm, Lapis... I-uh... find your quality of individuality quite attractive and wish to commence in a romantic relationship at once."
Lapis looked at me with an expression mixed with seventy percent confusion, twenty percent excitement, and ten percent reminisce.
"Peridot, are you trying to say that I'm attractive and you want to be romantic partners?" Lapis asked. All I could do was nod my head, expecting at any moment to be ready for the sixty percent chance she decided to blast me with water.
Though the odds were against it, the six percent chance she would accept my offer prevailed.
"Yes, I would love to join you in a romantic relationship. " She said. As if I were under control, I kissed her. "Peridot..." she said after a moment.
"Lapis, I have loved you since I first laid my scope on you during the rebellion." I told her. I used a finger t trace the put line of her tear-shaped gem.
"Peridot," Lapis said. "I-I can't!"
