It was obvious that Peridork wasn't going to apologize anytime soon.
Heh, Peridork. I hadn't called her that in years.
Anyhow, I wdecided to bring Connie home from her play date.
"J-Jasper! Why are you here?" Steven asked.
"Who is it Steven?" His father called.
"It's... Connie's friend Jasper! Yeah!"
I gritted my teeth. "Where's Connie?" I asked.
"Um, didn't she already go home?" My eyes went wide. I was supposed to bring her home. I slammed the door and ran away.
"CONNIE! WHERE ARE YOU?" The temple door opened, and Connie stepped out in her swimsuit.
"Jasper? I'm sorry I came home without telling you." She hung her head low.
I walked over to her. "It's okay." I said.
"Really?" She asked with bright eyes.
"Just never do it again!"
"Yes ma'am! "
