I didn't mean to send Peridot out of my room.
It's just that... Citrine...
Citrine and I were well acquainted soon after was captured.
She saw me for who I was, and fell in love with me.
Then, Homeworld realized that one of their soldiers loved me, and transmitted the video feed of her execution.
Without Citrine, my world is incomplete.
"Lapis?" A shy voice asked.
"Ci-Connie? I thought I asked you not to come on here! You could drown!" I turned to see Connie wearing her swimsuit. I could see her gem on her back.
"Lapis, you seem... sadder than usual. Do you want to come watch under the knife with me and Steven?" She smiled, and I wiped away a tear.
"Coonie, you really care about Steven. " Connie blushed.
"Well, it's just that-"
"Don't worry, I won't tell Jasper. " I promised. I winced as I remembered something Jasper said.
"You can't see that gem anymore! I won't alow you to share all our secrets!" Jasper hissed.
"When I'm with Citrine, we completely forget about the war!" I screamed.
"I will break her gem in half, then I will break yours! " Jasper retorted.
"Jasper! That's enough!"
"Y-yes Yellow Diamond!" Jasper said, leaving.
