"This is bad. This is really really bad!" Connie repeated, pacing across the floor.
"Don't worry Connie, we can handle it." Lapis reassured, patting Connie's back.
Connie's cellular telephone rang and she stepped outside to answer it.
"If only you could reassure us..." I sighed. "What can we do?"
Jasper grunted. "I don't know, but we can't let Pearl reach earth. She seems unstable. "
"Jasper?" Lapis asked. "I'm scared."
"No, you're not." Jasper said, causing Lapis and I to glance up in disbelief. "You flooded Homeworld, and were you scared then? Peridot, you sabotaged Rose Quartz, and were you scared then? Lapis, you were an experiment, and Peridot, you were a mistake. Were you scared to be you? You're Crystal Gems, and right now, in Yellow Diamond's honor, we can't afford to be scared. We owe it to the earth!" Jasper concluded her speech.
I nodded. "Where can we begin?"

"Very good, now just a little to the left... perfect!" I dismissed the robonoids, and stood back to witness our work.
We had built a barrier to stop the ship from reaching Earth. If everything went according to plan, we should stop the ship from invading.
"Great job Peridot, that should hold long enough for us to evacuate beach city! " Jasper said.
Lapis stepped towards me, her work with the ocean complete.
She had collected all the surrounding water inside the barrier in case we needed to attack.
"Peridot, we might not make it," she said.
"Correct, tin fact there's a nitwit five percent chance we die-"
"Not helping." She interrupted. "What I want to say, in case I can't later, is that I love you, and that will never change."
