"Embarrassment achieved, now entering protection mode!" I spoke into my log as I entered my lab.
My lab was not like Jasper's room, or Lapis's ocean room, but it was more like a lab.
The walls were endless cosmos, and there were several work stations floating around the orbs of water that led to other rooms.
I was upset. Ninety five percent, to be exact, as I usually was.
As I had predicted, I had come on too strong, and frightened Lapis.
"Peridot? "
"Connie?" I turned to see the young half-human female standing before me. "What are you doing in the temple? And why are you in your bathing suit?" I asked.
"I-I wanted to go swimming with Lapis. I think you should apologize to her." She said, trying to smile.
"I merely need to rethink my decisions."
"No, for running away!" Connie said. "Lapis thinks it was all her fault!" I could see the desperation in her eyes.
"Fine," I finally sighed. "But please do not expect me to apologize to Jasper for my attitude. "

"Lapis?"I asked, after about a minute of standing in her room.
She turned to face me.
"Peri... dot? I'm so sorry," she said, swimming towards me. Connie sat in an inflatable tube above the water.
"Lapis, it was all my fault," I reasoned.
"No, I shouldn't be afraid after Citrine, I just-"
I silenced her with a kiss.
"You talk too much, Miss Lazuli." I teased, smiling.
Lapis threw her arms around me.
"Oh Peridot-"
"Shh! Connie." I interrupted, pointing up.
