Chapter 22:Italy

Crowded

One word that described Italy right now this second. Arriving in the middle of a festival made it almost impossible to travel anywhere "welp we tried" Adam eyed the people in the streets dressed up in red as if they were pest. Too many people and they were loud as well filling the street up. Like cockroaches if anyone asked him

"your in such a positive mood today" Alice glanced his way amusement and a bit of worry in her eyes. "lets ditch the car and go on foot" Bella didn't even wait and was the first out of the car impatiently waiting ."They denied his request, his gonna force their hand by revealing himself" Alice rushed out to stand next to Bella while Edward sat in the car with the door open. Still grouchy because of the plain ride ."he will rush if we go but he cant read your mind so go alone, we will catch up"

with that Bella took off leaving the pair alone "i didn't agree to catch up" Adam complained finally dragging himself out of the car. He watched his sister run through a fountain before finally entering the castle. all in all it was dramatic of her and the fact she still ran so slow.

Without another word Alice had grabbed his hand and basically dragged Adam into the castle. There they witnessed Bella hugging Edward who stood frozen in her arms. As if he saw a ghost and couldn't believe she was alive and well.

"what a beautiful reunion "Alice voice was dry as she addressed the pair. She still didn't like the pair together and at this point was letting it known. Her opinion mattered a big deal and the only reason she was here was because she still loved her brother and didn't want him dead. She had hoped he would move on as well as Bella but now she knew only meeting his mate would do that

It was the same foe Adam, seeing his sister heartbroken he had hoped she would move on as well. If he didn't know better he would think they were mates with how they looked at one another but it was nowhere close to how him and Alice were. " Can we go or" His voice cut through the silence. Not being able to sleep at all on the plan and now walking around in the heat of Italy he was don't with it all. He would rather sleep

"the Masters would like to see you all" Two males walked into view. One taller than the other both clearly vampires. Having red vibrant eyes gave them away

"Bella why don't you-" Edward tried to send her away but a third vampire appeared. She had an aura that just screamed danger and he was correct when Alice pulled him behind her. Never taking her eyes off of the girl. She was tense and in protective mode almost hissing at the other

"Bring the humans"

Not another word was said as they followed the three vampires into an elevator. Adam tucked behind Alice while Edward stood next to Bella. A big contrast between mates and a singer. Once they left the elevator they walked down a hall passing a girl sitting behind a desk.

"is she a vampire too" Bella questioned glancing her way. It annoyed Adam to the core with how stupid she was acting

"does she have pale skin or red eyes?" he questioned glancing towards his sister as if she was stupid which she clearly was. She had the nerve to get embarrassed and look away but he didn't care. Running on no sleep he didn't have time to put up with stupid in the slightest.

"calm down" Alice hugged him close as they walked ignoring the snickering vampires around them.

He didn't have time to fully calm down as they approached the double doors. Behind held an unknown, somethin he wont sure he was ready for. He was only told briefly about the kings on the plain ride and now that he was about to meet them, fear had gripped him.

it was now are nothing. He just hoped he made it out of this alive
