Bonus: What happened to Bella???

Life was hard after the Cullens had left, taking with them her brother. Bella once again went down the rabbit hole of depression but this time Charlie had enough. He didn't allow her to sit in self-pity and isolation like he had before. He called up his ex-wife and after one long phone call they had an agreement.

They sent her away to get the help that she desperately needed. Bella was of course resistant at first ,screaming, biting and scratching to stay but in the end she was sedated and shipped off to a facility. One that was strict with rules and offer therapy to help with depression.

The first week she didn't move from her bed, didn't eat or drink anything given to her. By the second week they had a feeding tube installed. This was how it went until for months until a new therapist took her file.

There first meeting she reacted strongly when she saw his eyes. "Vampire" she whispered pulling at her restraints to get closer. "Do you know Edward?'

The vampire in question simply sighed. He took pity on the human that was left behind so cruelly. He knew everything when it came to her involvement with vampires. After all it was Carlisle who asked him to help the struggling girl.

"You know of my kind and for that I am sorry. We can be quite selfish and you did not deserve that." Flicking open her file she scanned it briefly."First we will talk about your involvement with Edward and why it was wrong"

"Loving him was not wrong" Bella snarled spit flying from her mouth as rage took over. She was tired of people telling her what she felt wont right when it felt so right to her.

"Did he not stalk you before you officially met?"  He questioned watching as Bella instantly looked unsure of her next move. "Didn't he stalk you after? Claim to love you but wouldn't change you?"

"He wanted to save my soul" her response came out as a whisper, one that barely met her own words.

" A vampire's soul, who to say we have one or not? How would he even know?" Smiling softly he laid the file down. "What makes any person or vampire are the actions that they make. Who's to say humans as yourself even have a soul? Think on it and we will pick this conversation back up tomorrow " The vampire stood up from his seat before walking over to Bella. "Your a victim  Bella and the sooner you see it the sooner you can live a normal life"

Bella shook her head refusing to believe a word he had said. How could she when it went against everything she felt and wanted. Instead her please fell on deaf ears as she was rolled out of the room and back to hers. 

As time progressed she met with her therapist more and more, each time she left drained and upset. She began to realize after year just how toxic her love for Edward's was. Realizing what she thought was love was instead it was obsession. Everything she did was with Edward in mind or the idea of being a vampire. She wanted to stay by his side so desperately that it hurt at the thought of being away

By the second year Bella was much calmer and was allowed visitation finally. She apologized to her father and mother, even cried as she told them she was wrong about everything. The second she was released back into the world she went to college, got a job and even met a nice man that later on became her husband. She didn't reach out to her brother too ashamed with how she acted to meet him face to face but she was happy to hear that he married Alice. 

"How was it" Bella smiled seeing her father walk into her house. He was older but still had that same fire in his eyes from when he was younger. 

"Adam seemed happy, absolutely glowing Bella. " Charlie smiled, hugging his daughter. "You both have grown so much and I'm so happy to have witnessed both my children living their life to the fullest."

"Your gonna make me cry old man, come inside already dinner is almost done" Leading him inside she sat down smiling, happy to finally have her own happy ending with the life she was meant to have.
