Chapter 27:Training

The family were in shambles over Alice vision. Seeing no other option but to help considering she was still dating Edward and is Adam's sister they enlisted the wolves to help. None was too happy about but Adam  and that was only cause he thought it was cool they could turn into wolves in the first place. During training he was mainly by Seth's side petting his fur or talking his the kids ear off.

"do you have like a mind link like in the movies" He was ecstatic not even paying attention the the Cullens training in the slightest. When Seth glanced toward Sam before shaking his head no, that was all the answer he needed. Smirking he gave Seth a knowing look before petting his head again. He was the only one seated by the wolves who glanced at him in amusement more than anything. 

"ok Adam, leave the puppy alone" Alice sat up in a tree smiling softly at her mate who seemed more childlike and calm than anyone present. The second he found out about the wolf pack he shot a million questions. They had to use Jasper to calm him down enough to remember he needed to actually breath in between questions.

"come on Alice, one more question" He glanced up at her silently begging with his eyes to continue. 

"dude how do you still have questions, they cant even answer you" Emmet laughed out loud still laying on the ground from when he was beaten

"he can answer yes and no question's you idiot" rolling his eyes he finally released Seth who was more than happy to retreat back. The wolves were tense but allowed Adam nearby considering he was human. They also knew he was mated to Alice meaning he will be turned sooner or later and by law there was nothing they could do to stop it. until then he was fine by them to be around, up until his change. Jacob was the one to inform them all about what was going on, thinking he could save both him and bella but was shot down. Mates were similar to imprints and if they interfered with something like that, it could start a war. Something no one wanted as of now. Bella was there only concern, being the only non-mated one in a relationship with vampire unsettled them more. This was something they wont sure about allowing, seeing how they were now.

They could see the love and care both Alice and Adam held for one another but when they looked Bella's and Edwards way it was not there. It was clear that Bella loved him more than he loved her. It made them uneasy which didn't help at all considering she was in the middle of this issue.

Sam shaking his head  stepped forward looking to Edward to translate his thoughts to the rest of the Cullens. "he wants to know what will happen to Adam doing this fight, there not after him but could be a targeted considering they are related" Edward repeated word by word, glancing towards his human brother nervously.

This was something the Cullen family was putting off. None of them were sure about that fact. None of them wanted him near the fight but that may be the only safe place for him. They wouldn't be able to cope loosing a family member and Alice honestly would unravel if she lost her mate at all.

"He will stay with me" Alice Tone was sharp as she addressed her family, eyes narrowing as if warning her family that it was not up for debate. "his safest with his mate"

Adam frowned a little hearing to turn of conversation. He didn't think he would be in danger since they were hunting Bella and he was nowhere to be seen in the vision. Of course he knew that could always change but silently hope it didn't. He knew Alice would protect him if it came down to it , it just made him feel helpless in the long run. It was something he didn't like but still respected his girlfriends choices no matter what

"Seeing the future would be a lot helpful in battle don't you think "Bella's timid voice cut through the silence. Seated off to the side beside Jacob's wolf form she watched and listened to everything, slightly annoyed with Adam bonding with the very pack that was tense with her but easy going with him

"his my mate Bella-"

"so you keep saying but there not after him, there after me" her facade was cracking showing just how angry and hurt she was at being second to her brother. "Couldn't he just stay home, he would be in the same amount of danger mt dad is in wouldn't he, its safer pl-"

"this is not a debate Bella" Alice jumped down from her tree not at all caring that it made the wolves uneasy and tense. "he is my life and I will take no chances on him. Rosalie, Emmet, Carlisle, Esme and Jasper even if his matless right now would do the same " Alice turned to the wolves motioning to them as well "they would do the save for there imprint as well. This is not up for debate. Edward is by your side and I will be by Adam's" she was seething by the end of this. Tired of always having to explain herself over and over to Bella who just couldn't understand none of them revolved around her but Edward and even he himself is distancing himself

"lets call if for the day" Carlisle stepped up nodding at bella to get in the car. "Adam ca-" he didn't have to finish his sentence as said boy was already walking towards the enraged Alice. Taking her into his arms he whispered sweet nothings into her ears. Letting her know that he was there and nothing would change that.  He wanted nothing more than to just go home and cuddle with his mate. Get her mind at ease before she had to worry again about the army on there way. Just to get away from todays hardship and just focus on them.
