Dedicated to SiennaNulph for being such a dedicated reader! Thank you! And there's so many other dedicated readers, but I can only dedicate one chapter at a time.

Chapter 33- Oh Great.

"You're doing what?" I exclaimed, in complete shock.

"I'm getting married to your sister," Mr. Lawson repeated. This built, attractive Bradley Cooper-looking, smart guy wants to marry Alice?!

"Yes, yes, it's all very true," Alice confirmed, gliding in and giving Mr. Lawson a long kiss, which I turned away from.

I so do not need to see this, I thought to myself.

Alice gave me a smug smile when she was done sucking off Mr. Lawson's face.

"OK. Who, what, when, where and most importantly why?" I asked, which immediately wiped the smug smile off Alice's face.

She glared at me, but regained her composure when Mr. Lawson stood up to wrap his arms around her waist and kiss her cheek.

"Well, it turns out, Chadwick's fiancée was a kleptomaniac. We went shopping together and every time we left a store, the alarms would go off on her. She'd always claim she had no idea how it got in there, but she needed help. Chadwick and I were talking and then she blamed me for what happened. She claimed I put all the stuff in her bag. Anyways, Chadwick apologized and we hit it off and then he asked me out on a date," she smiled, batting her eyelashes at Mr. Lawson, a.k.a Chadwick.

Wow. Alice set this woman up and Mr. Lawson was too blinded by "love" or stupidity to see it. The things Alice does. I caught her eye and from her small smile, I knew she really had set Mr. Lawson's ex-fiancée up. Poor woman. She didn't stand a chance, I thought. Alice was vicious when she wanted something.

"You see, the only reason I had a fiancée in the first place, was because I need to get married in three weeks, so before my 25th birthday, in order to claim my inheritance. My grandfather was keen on my getting married young and me, well not so much."

"So this is all about money?" I asked, appalled by their matter-of-fact-liness.

Alice rolled her eyes as if I was a dumb child. "No. Lucky for Chadwick, he found true love," she smiled, affectionately nuzzling her head into his built chest as he affectionately stroked her fingers.

I laughed. I honestly couldn't help myself. My sister and Mr. Lawson? It was just too ridiculous. Either he is completely insane or I'm getting Punk'd!

"Hey. I find my fiancée's devious schemes and ability to get what she wants, charming," Mr. Lawson explained as he gently kissed her knuckles, which gave me a glimpse of the large sparkling sapphire on her elegant silver engagement ring.

I could tell from his lingering tender gazes and kind words that he really meant what he was saying.

I quieted down. "Oh...you're serious." I cleared my throat. "Hmm, then you have 'my blessing,' and I wish you all the best," I said giving them a small smile, as I made my way to the door. All this meant was that she was his problem now.

"Jade, before you go," Alice called out to me, making me turn back to face her. "Will you be my maid of honour? Please say yes. You do owe me a favour after all."

I beamed. "Only because you said please and yea, how'd you manage to get me out of trouble anyways?" I asked, slightly curious... and scared. Mostly scared.

"A little blackmail here, a few threats there, and you can accomplish anything," she grinned.

"Yea, I was so better off not knowing that," I replied, leaving the lovebirds to themselves.

"There's a fitting tomorrow at 4:30 PM, don't be late," she called after me.

I made my way to my locker where Cameron was waiting for me. "Hope you didn't miss me too much," he smirked.

"And the old Cameron is back."

"Baby, I never left," he smiled, leaning against his locker.

"'Hey Jade, how did your meeting go?' It went great Cameron. Thanks for asking," I replied sarcastically.

"Whoa. You talk to yourself. Kinda weird don't ya think?" Cameron asked, completely straight-faced.

I raised a perfectly arched eyebrow and gave him a look that spoke volumes.

He broke into a grin. "I'm only teasing. You know you make the cutest unimpressed face."

I shook my head at him.

"And I know your meeting went well because you weren't mad when you walked over here. Oh yea, bet you didn't see that coming. I notice the little things."

I smiled at his ridiculousness. "Want a cookie?" I teased.

"Only if I get milk with it," he grinned.

I laughed and playfully pushed him, which only made him hug me from behind. He nuzzled his head against my neck affectionately, making me giggle.

"Aren't you two cute?" a jealous Porscha commented.

"What do you want, Porscha?" I retorted.

"A lot of things; but you always seem to get in my way." She glared at me.

            "Sucks, doesn't it?" I replied.

Cameron's arms around me tightened slightly, making me feel safe rather than trapped. "Leave her alone, Porscha," he retorted.

She trained her eyes on him. "Stay out of it Cameron. It's not about you anymore," she snapped.

I rolled my eyes. "What is it with you?" I exclaimed. "Get over it. Move on with your life! Do you even know why you hate me?" This fight has gone on for too long. It's stupid and it needs to be resolved.

"That's easy," Ashley piped up. "You're ugly, annoying, a wannabe, weak, pitiful, do I need to continue? We don't have all day," she crooned.

"Funny little thing. I don't remember talking to you, so shut up." I turned my attention back to Porscha. "Answer the question Porscha."

"I don't like you because you came here acting like you ran sh*t. You don't run anything. You come to this school and work your way up. Yes, you are a purebred Untouchable, but you still follow the order. If you don't, there have to be consequences, and these are yours."

"I've said this before and I'll say it again. I don't follow rules; I break them. I'm sorry if I messed up your "routine" or whatever, but deal with it. I won't get in your way."

She narrowed her eyes at me. "It's too late for that, so I'm getting in yours," she retorted pushing past me, with Madeleine following close behind.

"See you at the fitting," Ashley spat as she pushed past me.

        Oh great.
