A lot of you guys want closure for the story and I know I've held off forever, but here it is! Hope you guys like it and there's a surprise at the end!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A little over 2 years later

Clink clink clink clink! That was the sound of Vivian tapping her champagne glass with a silver spoon.

"If I could please have everyone's attention!" she called out through the loud chatter at the 10-seater table.

I looked around the cream-colored room with the elegant crown moulding, the large Victorian style windows and the intricate glass chandelier hanging over the dining table from the vaulted ceiling.

Around the table were my friends from high school. The last two years had had a lots of ups and downs, but I- we all made it.

Vivian and Ashton had broken up, but they were still very, very good friends. They had this weird relationship where they couldn't find a balance between being full-on lovers and best friends, which in my opinion is what a relationship is, but they insist that they can't and will no longer date because it ruins everything. Vivian was actually giving him one of her looks right now, meaning they were going to disappear in about 15 minutes. I mean, maybe it was the whole long distance that they didn't want to do. Ashton was going to University of Cambridge here in England and Vivian was going to UCLA with me in California. We'd already been there for a year and it was amazing.

Cleo and Preston were still together. 2 and a half years going strong. They were both going to Oxford University. (Cleo finally got her sh*t together!) I always knew she was smart, but it took a push from Preston for her to be the smart woman she's been too indifferent to be. Right now she was leaning her head on his shoulder. She was so much more relaxed since she'd found him. I'm assuming it helped that Stepmom #17 had made it past they 1-year mark and seemed to be sticking around. Cleo was tough, but even she needed a mother figure. The Stepmom #17 and Preston combo was good for her. She was still crazy – I don't think I could love her otherwise – but she was also happy, something I think she hadn't been for a long time. You know a best friend can sense these things.

Cameron and Porscha were trying to make it work. They had both gotten "disowned" – as in they were dead to their families and were stripped of their last names, but were given access to their trust funds, so they weren't completely hopeless. They were now Cameron and Porscha Westworth. They weren't married, but they were legally partners and living together, a security which gave Porscha a sense of stability and peace of mind. Pippa was now 4 years old and the cutest and happiest little girl I've ever seen. Porscha is... well Porscha, but less defensive and b*tchy. She's even sort of become a friend... distant, but sort of a friend. Cameron and I talk all the time. Sometimes I feel like that spark is still there, but we both know it wouldn't work. We do still talk about it sometimes.

In the case of Rose and Sebastian, it turns out Rose did not actually hit and kill Emma. Emma was hit by the vehicle, but the impact was minor as it was just in front of a stop sign. Emma died from an overdose. The impact of the car just sped up the process. Luckily, Sebastian had done his own private investigation, which revealed that. Since, Sebastian's parents don't know and Rose is basically everything they could've wanted in a daughter, she's in their good graces and of course, Rose's parents love Sebastian. I adore them together: they are such sweethearts. I talk to Sebastian like every single day and Rose every other week.

Madeleine is good friends with Vivian, which is why she is here. She's dating Will right now and to be honest, it's weird. Vivian asked me if it was okay, and I said it was, but now that I was here, looking at her in the flesh; it was very uncomfortable. I would never admit that though. I thought Will and I were going to be the couple that Cleo and Preston have proven to be or at least the one Ashton and Vivian are. I haven't spoken to him since he disappeared on me. We ran away together and those two months on the run were magical. They were perfect. There's no other words for the romantic gondola rides in Venice, the dinners at the Eiffel Tower, the botanical garden in Barcelona, the nights under the stars in Amsterdam, and all the moments of unguarded truth we shared.

It was special to me and maybe it was special to him too. The living dream ended when Interpol caught up with us. Can you believe my Grandmother sicked Interpol on us? Anyways long story short, I was forced to attend Bowick Academy for Girls. Luckily, Cleo decided to join me because "that's what besties are for." However, they weren't kidding when they said there was no escape. Trust me, we tried everything.

I never heard from Will. Not a text, not a call, not anything. Everyone else texted and called me, but it kind of hurt that he didn't. I could have gotten over it, but finding out half way through the year, from Cameron, through Porscha of all people in the world, that he was dating Madeleine, was just the worst. I couldn't even believe the nerve. He could have dated anyone in the world, but he chose Madeleine, a girl that I knew. There is no way he couldn't have known that it wouldn't get back to me.

I was sad for maybe three days, before Cleo convinced me to snap out of it. She reminded me that I didn't need Will, and that he was a jacka** for doing this to me. As much as he pissed me off, it was sort of good for me. I needed to accept the fact that Will wasn't good for me.

"I'd like to thank you all for coming," Vivian announced. Her jet black curls cascaded down her open back. Her evening gown was a midnight blue halter that sunk really deep down her back. She batted her long eyelashes as her lips curled up into a smile. "I'd like to propose a toast: To old friends, to new friends, to the past and to the bright, new beginnings for all of us."

We all raised our glasses and clinked them in the middle.

"To old friends, to new friends, to the past and to the bright, new beginnings for all of us."
