Chapter 10
A smirk replaced the expression as quickly as it came leaving me to wonder if it was just my mind playing tricks on me.
“I knew you couldn’t resist me,” Cameron whispered in my ear, but I couldn’t focus on him because Vivian forcefully hit me in the arm.
“Are you barmy?!” she hissed at me. “Do I have to explain absolutely everything to you? NEVER kiss Cameron! He is off limits!” As she said this an older girl and her clique made their way towards our table. “Shit! Now Porscha and her clique are going to start a row with us. Say nothing,” she hissed turning to look at the arriving clique. “Porscha.” Vivian crossed her arms and glared at the blonde girl, who was obviously the leader of her clique. She wore her uniform like me, without her blazer, loose tie and top button open. She proudly hung her large Prada bag on her elbow and scowled at Vivian.
“Vivian,” Porscha responded narrowing her sky blue eyes at me. “You must be Jacklynn.”
“It’s Jadelynn,” I retorted, glaring right back at her.
“Whatever. Madeleine, pass me the Coke.”
Madeleine, the brunette, sighed and rolled her eyes as she passed Porscha the can of Coca-Cola. The entire cafeteria went quiet as Porscha slowly opened the can, smirking. It was so quiet that I could hear the Crack! and the Fizz! of the can being opened. Everyone had their eyes on Porscha and she was soaking in the attention.
“What are you gonna do? Dump that on me?” I said unimpressed.
“Yes,” she replied nonchalantly slowly emptying the can over my head.
I took in a deep breath as the cold sticky substance rolled down my hair and onto my face. “Is that all you got? ‘Cuz I’ve been told I need to cool off and this is the perfect way to start. Thank you.” With that I turned around and proceeded to steal one of Cameron’s fries as if nothing had happened. I looked back at her. "You can leave now," I finished as condescendingly as I could.
I could feel Porscha trying to burn holes in the back of my head with her eyes. She crushed the can in her hand and flung it to the ground. “Stay away from Cameron,” she ordered.
Madeleine looked up from her navy blue iPhone and scrutinized me. “You know what? I like her,” she said. She smiled at me. “Come on, Porscha.” With that Porscha, Madeleine and their four followers went back to their table and the cafeteria chatter continued.
“What was that all about?” I asked Vivian as Cameron put his arm around me. I shrugged it off and he put it right back.
“Porscha likes to think that she owns Cameron,” Vivian replied.
“She’s crazy about me,” Cameron smirked, flipping his blonde hair.
“And you didn’t think that was worth mentioning?”
“Nope,” he smirked. “I didn’t think you were that into me.”
“I’m not.”
“And yet my arm is still around your shoulder.”
I gave him a fake smile and punched him in the stomach. My fist collided with his rock hard abs and he didn’t even flinch.
“You like?” he smirked.
I rolled my eyes. “Just get your arm off me.” I searched the cafeteria for Will. I was scoping the cafeteria when I heard Will’s unforgettable flirting laugh. My eyes shot to the source of the laughter. Will was sitting in between Ashley and Porscha, the two people I hated the most at the moment.
Fine, if that’s how he wanted to play it, it was so on. Ashley looked over and smirked at me as she scooted closer to Will.
Me-6. Ashley-6.
That girl got on my last nerve.
The bell rang signaling the end of lunch and I was off to my locker to get my books for my last two classes. I shut my locker door and there was Will, smirking as usual.
“Lunch was a cute little show.”
“What are you talking about?” I raised an eyebrow.
“I know you only did that to make me jealous.”
Now it was my turn to smirk. “Don’t take everything so seriously, Will.” I stepped around him and made my way to my next two classes which I spent plotting to win the biggest game of my life, but first I needed back up from someone I could always count on.

So I'm guessing you all already know who the person she can always count on is, but what does Jade have up her sleeve? And Ashley? She's definitely not going down without a fight! And what is Porscha capable of? I mean everyone is scared of her!
