Chapter 20

5 Years Later

"Kiara! Are you done yet?!" Amelia barged into the room to figure out what was taking so long for her.

Kiara was sitting on the bed, bouncing her left leg. She was nervous and scared but also the happiest person right now.

"Kiara what's wrong? Com'n let's go. It's time now." Amelia came forward and sat beside Kiara.

"What's wrong?" She asked with a frown on her face. Kiara began to bite her nails and looked at Amelia. It was visible that she was nervous, nervous because of this marriage.

"Babe com'n everything will be alright. You ain't finding anyone better than Nathan. So let's go before everyone comes up." Amelia stood up and pushed her hands in front of Kiara's face for her to grab it.

"What if I'll faint?" Amelia giggled and looked down at her.

"You'll not. I know everything will be fine once you see Nathan."

"I hope so. What if he escort?" Amelia groaned and glared at her.

"He will not. He loves you too much for it." She grabbed her hand and took her downstairs.

Nathan was patiently waiting for his bride to come down. His hands were cold even though he was sitting in front of the holy fire.

He was anticipating her to come down soon now. Since the Pandit have asked to bring the bride down for the wedding.

On the queue, the music startes playing and Kiara came in his sight.

Damn

His eyes got glued on her while she slowly walked down the stairs, holding her veil with one hand and the lehenga with other.

"Snap out of it." Siddharth pinched his arms. Nathan hissed and rub his arms, which stings from the pinch.

"She's looking so pretty." Nathan flattered in her beauty and fixed his turban.

"She's gonna be your forever from today." 

"I bet I'll look like shit next to her."

"Nathan shhh." Mrs. Mehra glared at him and hushed him.

Nathan chuckled and sat silently until Kiara was next to him. Amelia helped her sit next to him and fixed her lehenga.

"You are looking very very pretty." Kiara blushed and turned her head away from his view.

"Shut up." She muttered and joined her hands as the Pandit started chanting the mantras.

"Why is everyone shutting me up? Can't I admire my wife?" He complained under his breath and joined his hands. Kiara giggled and focused on the fire infront of them.

"You are looking very pretty." Siddharth compliment Amelia.

"Yea sure." Amelia sassed and rolled her eyes at him as she threw the petals of flowers on the couple getting married.

"I mean it, Em." He wrapped his arms around her waist and stared at the couple getting married, reminiscing the day, when Amelia and he got married a week ago.

Amelia was upset with him because he forgot to stock up the ice cream boxes after she devoured the whole box and they ran out of it. He wasn't aware that it was over, she just assumed he knows and now is mad at him.

"Em." He poked her sides.

Amelia scooted away from him and glared at him. He knows she's very ticklish.

"Babe, I'm sorry. I got 5 whole ice cream family pack for you. That too your favourite flavour." He bribed her. Which somewhat worked.

Amelia scrutined her eyes and looked at him.
"For real?" Siddharth nodded with a smile.

A smile breaks through her lips and she scoots over back by his side.

After Siddharth left, Amelia was in rage. For a year, nobody took his name in front of her.

She was at least expecting him to come back and woo her back, apologise and say that he only loves her. That she's all he wants.

But he didn't. He left her and came back after 2 years.

After that, it was chaotic. Mrs. Singh was very upset with him. Mrs. Mehra was angry with him. Amelia was heartbroken, Kiara and Nathan were very upset with him for hurting Amelia.

He earned their trust back. Took him a really long time but he finally did.

"What are you thinking?" Amelia muttered in his ears and snapped his attention towards her..

"I'm happy for them. Finally Kiara and Nathan are getting the love they deserve." Amelia grinned and nodded.

"They do." She muttered and watched as Nathan filled Kiara's hairline parting with vermillion.

And there by, their happily ever after started. With their family, lovers and friends, their lives were filled with happiness and prosperity.

"Finally you are married! You see he didn't escort!" Amelia pulled the new wedded bride in her embrace and gave her the tightest hug ever.

"What?" Nathan uttered in confusion.

Siddharth waved off his hands and answered,"Oh nothing, just Kiara thought what if you'll change your mind and run away."

Nathan widened his eyes and pulled her by his side.
"Never." He declared and kissed her forehead.

"Now she's mine forever. Not only in this birth. But in every single one of them. She's mine and I'll always find her in every birth."

"I love you." Nathan smiled and reciprocated the feelings. "I love you too."
