Kayla said that we have three days to one week for preparation on our adventure to Okinawa, Japan. She also said that we needed some new toys for the trip. So Jonas had been really busy for the past two days and won't even come out of his room to eat. That's why Kayla had been diligent on delivering food to him.

The two hunters were always briefing me on my role, and reviews it over and over again. The what to do and the whatnots. It almost feels like I'm memorizing a certain part of a play.

They've also given me permission to send a text to my friend Daisy, who I know would worry of my sudden disappearance. I told her that I'm in my parents' house to rest because of some made-up illness. Jonas also made a medical exemption letter and sent it to my teachers, and of course it had a fake doctor's signature.

Being with these guys for days reformed my earlier thoughts about them. They're actually good people. Kayla seems mean but she actually has a golden heart. Don acts without thinking, stupid most of the times, but a nice guy in general. Jonas was the typical geek and the one that plays the role as the responsible grown-up figure. Well they're all a few years older than me, but Don acts like a grade-schooler with ADHD.

And I learned more about the Hunters' world when Don had nothing to do but chat. The Hunters' society also have their own branches. He mentioned that a month after their pledge they go under tight training for half a year, that's when the supervisor assess and assigns them on a branch fit for their ability. Another six months will be spent on training, well this time they're put on the real world, like interns or trainees as what they call it. It's a test of their skills as assistants to professional hunters. That part of the training will be a make or break for them, for their partner will be the one to grade them if they pass or fail. If they pass, they can work on the branch they're assigned to. If not, they'll simply be on desk duties.

Same as the Keepers branch, the Hunters' society also had three branches; the H-Hunters branch, meaning the hunters or police of some sort. Then there's the S-Hunters, the spies and undercover agents. Lastly, is the B-Hunters the ultimate bodyguards to elite vampires. All of them had connections to each other like a spider's web.

Obviously, Don was assigned to the H-Hunters, and so was Kayla. Spying and undercover stunts are not their specialty. So they've invited an old friend whom they've trained with before. A colleague to their Hunter Academy days before having their separate ways.

This person is about to arrive this day, and I've actually grown curious about him/her. Yes, they didn't tell me on who this mysterious guest is, to keep me intrigued. They've learned about my severe curious trait and played on that. I suffer everyday out of my boiling curiosity to who this person is.

I've waited anxiously since breakfast, my knees won't even stop moving when I sit. Kayla and Don seemed amused of my suffering. Sadist bastards. Then we heard the doorbell ring, that single sound made me jump out of my seat, and made Kayla laugh.

A small thumbnail of the video camera by the door popped on the side of the big-ass computer screen placed on the wall. Kayla clicked it, as it enlarged we saw someone wearing a black cap, but I can't see his/her face for the person's head was looking down.

"Hey." Kayla said. "Wait up. Don will get you."

"How'd you know that's your friend, and not a lost pizza delivery guy?" I asked and she just smirked.

"Our friend always wear a black cap." She said, and called Don to fetch the mysterious person outside the house.

Actually, I've just recently learned that this is an underground headquarter beneath a house located in a compound near the university I'm studying. I know! It's unbelievable! I was shocked when I first heard that from Don, and that was an information he's not allowed to say. Yeah the donkey is a blabbermouth, and he can't control what he says most of the times. I laughed when he blurted out his secret crush on Kayla, it really knocked me over.
