"Why are we taking him exactly?" I asked. While my eyes was focused on the road. I don't drive carelessly like Kayla does, I drive like a grandma.

"Just so." She simply said. "Can't you drive any slower?"

"Yeah. Want me to execute?" I asked her, though it was purely a joke. But when I heard her growl, immediately I stepped on the gas and went on a speed I'm not comfortable with.

Kayla blindfolded Tristan when we're close to our destination. We arrived at the house and got inside through the back door. I helped him on the stairs down to the basement. As Kayla opened the cabinet with another security hassle.

This time, she knocked on the said cabinet and immediately a flash of light came from above it. It went to her eyes and after it's done it said the same words. "Scan complete." She then also said the same magic words. I snickered and I saw Tristan smirk, I nudged his side before Kayla caught him. I don't want him to get the black eye I had, or think badly of Kayla. Well, I know it's too late for that. He probably thinks Kayla is a criminal mastermind, of some sort.

When we were inside the headquarters Don immediately bolted up from his seat, when his eyes landed to our new guest, in handcuffs. "So, this is what you got from your shopping spree?"

"Oh dear." Keith said and scratched his head, I mean cap.

"We can explain..." I said but Kayla stopped me from further saying anything.

"Take this boy to the main room. I'll talk to them." She said, and I simply obeyed. So I took Tristan by the arm and ushered him towards the headquarters' core.

"Would you mind explaining me all this?" Tristan finally spoke after a long time of playing mute.

"Yes." I helped him sat on the sofa and took off his blindfold and handcuff. Though, I don't know if it's okay to do so. But Kayla gave me the key, so why not. "Uhm how do I start this. Any questions?"

He blinked a lot adjusting to the brightness of this room before he looked at me. He was touching his wrists while looking around. My eye focused only on his wrist that was turning red.

I suddenly feel guilty.

"I'm sorry. Now you're involved into this mess." I said and covered my face, trying to hide my tears, and hold out the rest that's about to fall like rain. I feel even guiltier of what I've done. I just dragged him into a hellhole with a complicated maze to solve.

I heard him sigh. "I see that you weren't kidnapped nor in the Province." He said, and slowly took my hands away from my eyes. "What's going on hobbit? Tell me."

"Surprise! I turned out to be the kidnapper." I said shaking my hands while saying the word surprise, he chuckled at my lame attempt to joke. "They're good people, you know. And actually they are... hunters."

"I can see that." He paused. "So why are you with them?"

I told him the long story of how I ended up into this mess. On how they thought I was Victoria—my mother, that ironically has the same name as mine— and turns out I'm her daughter, now I'm their asset or somewhat like a bait to catch her, the big fish.

After I said everything, not leaving a single page unturned, for the first time Tristan was speechless.

"Damn." Was the first word that came out his mouth. He then ran a hand through his hair. "So you are Will's sister." I nodded. "Damn." He said again, then stood up. "How can this be..."

I too stood up. "I know. There's no answers yet to the questions in your head. So just sit tight for the mean time." I pushed him lightly to get back on the sofa. "And, let's not tell anyone about this, yet." I sat back right next to him, and looked into his eyes. "Please."
