"What do you mean? He's your husband?" Ally asked after I blurted out that I married Ethan.

"Ex-husband," I corrected. I then began to tell her how it all started between Ethan and I. "He hired my old band to play at his company's event..."

5 years ago...

As we were waiting to get up on stage, Ethan was introduced to everyone as the new CEO of Henderson Development. He's now up on the stage, giving a speech.

I could tell that he really loves what he does and the company. At such a young age, he's already heading a very successful company. He holds so much vision. He's dedicated and I have no doubts, that he'll do good things for the company. I may not know a lot about business matters, but by looking at Ethan and listening to his words, I know he can do anything.

"With that being said, I hope you will all give me the same loyalty, as you have given my father, and my grandfather. Let me end this with the advice that he gave me and my brothers," he said. "My grandfather always told us that, 'honour and trust is what matters most. He said that there are already too many people in the world who has neither, and he doesn't want to be that man.'" Ethan said with pride. "I hope to live to that wisdom, and may it inspire you to become the best man, and woman that you can be. Cheers," he said and raised his glass to everyone in the room.

I smiled.

"Now let me welcome this amazing band, that I've recently come across. Please welcome, "One Way," he introduced us.

"Ready, Ands?" Leo asked.

I breathed heavily. "As ready as can be," I said with a smile.

"Let's go kick some ass," he said.

I nodded.

"Ready guys?" Jack asked.

"Let's go kick some major ass," Gavin said as he ran up the stage.

We took our spots, and greeted the crowd.

"Good evening every body. First off, we'd just like to congratulate Mr. Henderson and thank him for giving us this wonderful opportunity, to share our music with you guys. Enjoy the rest of the night and let's get this party started," and on cue, the band started with our first song, "I Gotta Feeling," by the Black Eyed Peas.

The rest of the night was a success.

After the party, as I was packing up our things on the stage, when Ethan came up to me.

"Hey guys. You guys were amazing. I'd like you to meet a good friend of mine," Ethan said. "This is Richard Maze from R&C music. Richard, this is the band I was telling you about."

"Finally," Mr. Maze said.

"Hello. It's an honour to meet you, Mr. Maze," I said and shook his hand. The guys introduced themselves and shook his hand.

"Listen, Ethan here wasn't lying when he said that you guys were something special," he praised. Then he looked at me and said, "Your voice is something else. I haven't heard anyone sound like you do. You make the songs your own. And when you and Leo sang together... Wow! You two sound fantastic together."
