Surprise!!!! A double update for you guys!
Andi
After dinner, Ally went up on stage to introduce One Way to the crowd.
The crowd went crazy, especially the single ladies.
I'm just so proud of them and I couldn't keep the smile off of my face.
After singing their new number one song, Hello Again, Leo talked to the audience and said, "Not many of you know, but we used to be a 4 man band... Well 3 man and a woman," drawing some cheers and laughs from the crowd, while I shifted uncomfortably in my chair.
He wouldn't! I thought to myself.
"And she's actually here tonight," he said.
The jerk!
"Ands? Where are you at?" He asked as he searched the crowd.
Suddenly there was a spotlight on me.
Oh god!
"There you are," he said. "What do you say? Let's do this for old time sake," he said as he motioned for me to come up on stage.
I shook my head.
"Come on," Ethan said from beside me. "I miss hearing you sing," he said with an encouraging smile.
"Why don't we give Andi a round of plause and some cheer," Leo said.
I sighed.
I stood up reluctantly and made my way up to the stage.
"Yeah," Leo exclaimed.
"Ands, why don't you do your magic, and sing us something from the heart," Leo said as he handed me a guitar, then he stepped back and gave me the spotlight.
"I hate you," I mouthed at him, causing him to chuckle.
I walked towards the mic, and smiled at the audience.
"Good evening. Sorry, I'm a little nervous. I haven't done this in a while," I said honestly. "Wow, it feels so weird to be holding a guitar again," I said, as I held the guitar in front of me. "But let me just say, how proud I am of these guys. They are amazing and they deserve all the success in the world," I said, drawing some loud claps and cheers from everyone.
As I was standing there, I was battling myself if I would be able to sing, Everything by Lifehouse. It's the one song I sing, that always comes from the heart. But after hearing the song on the radio, and breaking down, I wasn't too sure, if I would be able to sing it.
Then suddenly, Leo came up behind me and whispered, "it's now or never. Sing it. It's about time. You have to face your fear and the music at some point. Might as well sing the song that makes you feel everything," he said with a wink.
I understood what he was trying to say, and he was right.
"Thank you," I said to him.
I looked back to the audience and smiled. "This song I'm going to sing, holds so much meaning to me, I hope you like it.
I pulled the chair, Leo placed behind me, and sat down.
I adjust the mic and the guitar. Took a deep breath, and began to play.
My heart was beating so loudly in my chest, and I had to close my eyes, to calm myself.
I took another deep breath before opening my eyes, and singing the first words of the song:
