We only waited for a few more minutes after Jules' tirade. We were led up a couple of flights of stairs to a wing where are rooms were located. We were instructed that dinner followed a gala will be in a couple of hours. So we made room assignments, me and Korin were in the last room at the end of the hall with double doors. Trevor, Niko, and Jules was in the room adjacent to us on the right, Jace and Raven on the left, and Sage and Colin next to them.
Our room were extravagant, a king-size, canopy bed on a raised platform with silk white curtains was in the center of the all-white room. Everything was trimmed in gold from the Victorian style settee, table and chair, small desk flushed against the wall, the dark hardwood floors was a strong contrast to the white walls and furniture. The bathroom was all white with gold trimmings with a claw foot tub. We had a balcony that had a beautiful view of the river with four small white iron chairs and matching table. The other rooms were similar minus the balcony and with different color schemes. Trevor, Niko, and Jules room had two queen size beds and instead of a tub they had a shower stall.
"Celina, come here." I had been pacing around our room with Korin watchful eye following me. Korin was sitting on the side of the platform bed. Sighing I slowly strolled to him stepping between his legs. "They are fine."
Korin pulled me to his chest, his nose nuzzling in the crook of my neck. "I know, I just wish I was out there too."
"Baby, you know they would be able to get more information than we could." I knew Korin was right. Trevor, Niko, and Colin were getting the feel of the grounds and people here. Korin and I would gain too much attention, being the queen and king, we stood out more than the rest of the royals and other high guard.
"We have a couple of hours of down time, I think we can concentrate on something else."
"I don't know Korin, I'm so amped right now. I don't think anything can distract me right now." I felt Korin's lips smile against my neck before he flipped me onto the bed hovering over me.
"I'm sure I can come up with a few things, mate." He growled.
"Oh really, then show me." I growled back pulling his face down and devouring his lips.
***********
A few hours later we all dressed up and mingling with all the packs from around the world. We were in a large ballroom encased in gold and black from the cathedral high ceiling down to the black marble floors. People were dressed in various gowns and suits that ranged from high fashion couture to formal tribal wear. I was dressed in an off shoulder, black floor length gown adorned with silver beading and it fitted snuggly against my curves. The dress was beautiful and Korin hated the thigh-high split that he felt made the dress a little too sexy for his liking.
I was currently dancing with Trevor speaking through our mindlink giving me an update of what they found before the party.
Did you get any proof on Lucas?
No, but the hostility that is stirred up about us is definitely coming from his people.
What about the Australian Queen?
She is a puppet just like Searcee told you. She is too busy sleeping with the boys around her to be bother with politics or even the day-to-day concern of her people. She trust her brother explicitly.
Tomorrow is the council meeting, I need something if we to confront him.
How about a warning?
No we don't want to tip our hand that we know of his involvement with Kristoff. Are they any friendlies?
Of course you have Africa, Asia, and South America that are not buying into the world domination propaganda being spread about us. Not sure about the two Queens in Europe but there is distrust from the people of Eastern Europe territory along with Australia.
