It felt great to be in familiar setting and surrounded by people who cared about me.  I was sitting in the living with all of my high guard and  our new friends.  Keagan and his friends minus Deliah who opted to stay in the main house with the older folks.  I was still pissed at Korin, but I buried that deep down and focus on my family in front of me.  In a short time, I considered everyone here as my family, a very diverse one.  But family nonetheless.  I was glad the interrogation was over about what happened after the cliff incident.  Keagan gladly filled in the missing pieces until we came to the part where Korin had found me.

"I wish I could've seen Korin's face when he saw you two holding down a screaming Celina!" Jules said looking at Keagan and Colin.

"It wasn't a pretty sight!" Keagan laugh.  "I can laugh now, but Korin was intent on killing first and ask questions later!"

Colin groaned rubbing the back of his neck.  "Don't remind me, he threw me across the room like he was flicking dirt off his pants."

"Aww don't worry honey, the big bad wolf can't hurt you now." Sage cooed in his ears.  Sage and Colin seemed so happy together cuddled up into each other laps.  Why couldn't it be that easy for me and Korin.

"In all seriousness, if Korin hadn't shown up.  Celina wouldn't have survived the process."  Everyone nodded but I didn't want to hear anymore about Korin.  I wanted to forget about him if only for a second.  I stood to head to the kitchen when I heard a knock on the front door.  Changing directions I headed to the door to answer it.

"Well the rumors are true, you are alive and kicking!"

"Devon! Karen!" I squealed with happiness giving them both hugs.

"Do we get a hug too." I looked behind them and saw my friends and teammates, Kyle, Angel, Spike, Lance, Phoebe, Lana, and Sawyer. They pulled me into a group hug questions flying over my head. How did I survive? Am I ok?...

"Hey, hey are y'all going to stand out there or come in?" Jules stood near the doorway motioning for them to come in.  "We have more company! I say we have a party!"

"Do you really think it's appropriate to have a party right now?"

"Why not.  We have been dealing with some raw shit lately.  Let's take this moment and celebrate Celina's survival and return to the fold! I have a feeling we have more shitty days ahead, so let's enjoy tonight take some fun!" I like the way Jules think.  He was right.  Everyone had been dealing with death and fighting for the past month it wouldn't hurt to take a breather. A party sounds the perfect way to get Korin off my mind for a few hours.

It had been a hour and the party was in full swing.  The music was blaring and people were dancing, talking, and drinking.  I stood next to Devon.

"You and Karen?"

"Yea, she finally forgave me." He said smiling watching as she was dancing with Angel, Kyle, and Jules.

"I'm glad."

"I told Korin to come by.." I held my hands up to stop him from speaking.

"Don't Devon, stop trying to be our matchmaker or therapist or whatever."

"I see a month has done nothing to improve your communication.  You two need a serious conversation."

"Look Devon, I don't want to think about Korin right now.  It's a party! Come on let's go join your mate and dance."  I grabbed his hands pulling him towards to Karen.  I didn't want to think I just wanted to have a good time.  Is that so much to ask?

After a couple more drinks and sitting next to Niko I realized that we really haven't talked as much as I've talked to the others.  "Niko, what's up?"
