'"The Akatsuki needs you." A monotonous voice said. "Would you come with us or end your life here?" A raspy voiced man said, grinning. 'This is where my story starts over.' Sakura thought, letting her tears flow as she smiled.
They ran through the woods the Akatsuki has successfully managed to make the cherry blossom come with them willingly without the village knowing.
A day has passed before they finally reached the Akatsuki base. They immediately went to their leader's office. They knocked and heard a feint come in. The Akatsuki members bowed as their leader nodded, dismissing them.
The leader looked at Sakura with cold eyes. "Your partner will be indefinite as of for now. We recruited you to be our medic. We will work on your ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu. Konan will lead you to your room." Pein suddenly bombarded Sakura with her tasks.
Sakura blinked at him trying to remember what she has to do. She snapped out of it when a woman with blue hair and a white paper rose on her hair appeared beside Pein.
The blue haired girl walked towards the door and told Sakura to follow her. A few turns later, they finally reached the door of Sakura's new room. "Your room is fully equipped. Your uniform is in the closet. You can design your room anyway you like. I hope we become good friends considering that you're the only girl I can talk to here. My name is Konan by the way." Konan said, smiling gently at Sakura.
Sakura returned the smile. "I hope for the same thing, Konan-san, my name is Sakura." She said. Konan's smile got bigger and said "-san is not needed, Sakura-san." "Likewise, Konan." Sakura said, grinning happily at Konan.
"I'll be back for you within an hour to introduce you to our members." Konan said, smiling and waving at Sakura as she walked away. Sakura smiled and waved back at her as she entered her room. 'She seems nice.' She thought, setting her pack beside the bed. She grabbed a new set of clean clothes and made her way to the bathroom.
She walked out a few minutes later, fully clothed. She opened her wardrobe and saw the cloak, straw hat and a ring that says storm. 'Storm?' Sakura thought putting the ring on her pinky. She looked at the clock and saw she only has 3 minutes before Konan comes and fetch her.
Sakura, being the curious and adventurous girl she is, decided to explore the base on her own. She walked out and turned right. Then another right. And a left. And found herself completely lost. 'Why do you have to be so smart and explore on your own, you idiot?' Inner scolded. 'Oh shut up you.' Sakura thought, twitching, taking another right.
Her foot sank in one of the tiles, but luckily for her, a hand caught her wrist before she gets stabbed with thousands of kunais. "You should be more careful. I would eat you if you die." A voice said, making Sakura's eyes widen.
"I'm lost." Sakura said, looking at Zetsu. "I thought she would be scared and pee her pants. Me too." Zetsu said, talking to himself. Sakura twitched at what she is hearing now. "I'm still here you know?" She said, glaring at Zetsu.
He simply smiled and said "Konan has been looking for you." "Please show me the way back." Sakura said, grinning at him. Zetsu nodded and sank into the ground. "Hey! No fair!" Sakura shouted, enhancing her fists with chakra. She punched the floor, revealing a shocked Zetsu under the floor.
"Do you f**king know how expensive cement is?!" Kakuzu shouted in raged from corridors away, running towards Sakura.
Sakura shrieked as Kakuzu shook her shoulders. "Sorry! I'll pay!" Sakura said, trying to get off of Kakuzu's grip. "You better!" He said. "Oh there you are Sakura!" A feminine voice suddenly shouted. Making everyone turn to the voice's way.
