Sakura twitched at the noise and she suddenly stood up. "I'm going to a nearby village." She said. "I'm coming with you, un." Deidara said, grinning. "Me too." Sasori said, standing from his sit. 'This is going to be a long day.' Sakura thought, her right eye twitching.

"What is this, un?" Deidara asked holding up a strip of meat. Sakura twitched as she held a basket full of food. "How can you not know bacon you idiot?" Sakura asked looking at some kind of mushroom. "Well it's not my fault I don't know what it is, un!" Deidara said, pouting.

"Kakuzu is too thrifty to even buy decent food." Sasori said as Sakura put mushrooms in the basket.

BOOM

The entrance of the grocery store exploded. "That's art, un! But a poorly made art, un." Deidara said, his eyes glinting with excitement. "Nobody moves!" A voice shouted, making everyone in the grocery, but the trio, cower in fear.

Sakura, Deidara and Sasori ignored him and continued shopping. The robber spotted the trio and pointed his weapon at them. "I said do not move!" The robber shouted but got ignored. The robber looked around and pulled a little girl by her hair, making her cry in pain. "Please let go." She said quietly, tears threatening to fall from her eyes. "Please take me instead!" The mom shouted.

"Shut up!" He shouted. "I'll kill her if you won't stop moving! Give me all your belongings!" He shouted, looking at the trio. "I'll give you my kunai then." Sasori said, his hand reaching for his kunai pouch. Sakura stopped him and said "There's a kid."

"What of her, un?" Deidara asked as if it's nothing. "She's still too innocent to see blood." Sakura said, taking a step towards the robber. "Don't come closer!" He said, pointing his pocket knife to the little girl, making the girl cry.

In a blink of an eye Sasori stood behind the robber and knocked him out, freeing the girl in the process. The girl cried and ran to her mother's arms.

Deidara was shocked at what he just saw. 'I can't believe danna just did that, un.' He thought. Sakura walked towards the cashier and pulled out her wallet. "Please, have those for free as our gratitude." The cashier said, smiling as she packed the foods and handed them to Sakura. "Thank you." Sakura said, smiling.

The trio turned to walked away but Sasori was stopped when he felt someone tug on his sleeve. He turned and saw the girl from before. "Onii-san, thank you for saving me!" She said, smiling. Sasori stared at her and soon looked away. "Tch." He said, walking away, making the girl almost cry.

Deidara saw and patted the girl's head. "Don't worry, un. Danna has always been like that, un." He said smiling. "See ya, un." He said as he walked away, waving a hand.

Sakura smiled at what she saw. 'I didn't know the Akatsuki has a soft spot for kids.' She thought. 'Including the grumpy rag doll?' Inner asked, twitching. 'That question is unanswerable.' Sakura thought, sweat dropping.

"Hurry up. I hate waiting." Sasori's voice snapped Sakura out of her thoughts. She ran towards them with a smile on her face. 'Either way, I think I'll be happy here.'
