They entered the dining hall, sweaty and bruised up, making Itachi look at them as he set the plates down. "Fix yourselves before showing your faces to me." Itachi said monotonously, making Sakura and Deidara sweat drop. But eventually doing as Itachi said. If not, no dinner for them.
The following day everyone gathered in the living room, enjoying their day off. Well, asides from Konan and Pein. 'I didn't know criminals get their day offs too.' Sakura thought, sweat dropping.
"It's so f**king boring." Hidan whined. "Shut up." Kakuzu said as he counted his money. "Tobi knows something fun to do!" Tobi started. "What?" Zetsu said, raising an eyebrow. "Let's see if Kisame-senpai can breathe underwater!" Tobi said jumping around, making Kisame fall from his seat.
"You idiot! I'll die!" Kisame said, hitting Tobi over the head. "Hn." Itachi said, smirking. Kisame looked at Itachi with a look of betrayal. "You want me to die?" Kisame asked, sulking in the corner.
"Let's just ask Kisame the correct way of cooking boiled eggs, un." Deidara said, making Hidan laugh. Sasori smirked and said "That's a great idea brat." "Stop bullying Fishface." Sakura said, waving them off. "The b**ch is no f**king fun." Hidan muttered, slouching on the couch.
"Let's ask leader if we can go on a single mission together!" Sakura said, her eyes glimmering with excitement. "I'll ask them only because it's boring here." Zetsu said, sinking in the floorings.
A few minutes later, Zetsu came back and said "No mission that requires all of us to go all at once." Everyone groaned. Konan came in and looked around. "A festival will be held in the village tonight. Pein said you can go." She said as everyone in the living room smiled in delight, except for Itachi, Sasori, and Kakuzu who just sat there.
"Does that mean we have to put up a henge all night?" Sakura asked, twitching. "No need, un." Deidara said. "Why?" Sakura asked in confusion. "You'll f**king see when we f**king get there." Hidan said, smirking.
"Let's get ready for the night! Tobi is a good boy!" Tobi said, jumping away. Sakura stood up and stretched her arms. "Well, see ya later." Sakura said, walking away.
Sakura took a nap and a nice warm bath. She looked at the clock and saw that she only has an hour or two to get ready.
She opened her closet and pulled out her everyday attire. She stopped when a knock was heard. "Sakura-chan, you better not be wearing your everyday attire in this festival." Kisame said through the door, making Sakura twitch. "How did he know?" She wondered to herself.
With that said, Sakura put back her clothes and pulled out a pink and black dress. She put it on and tied her hair up for a bun. She took her kunai pouch and attached it on her thigh. walked out with her shoes at hand. (So you can basically imagine her dress. >_> sorry not good with dresses xD)
She entered the living room and saw no one. She sat down and waited. After a few minutes she heard a loud explosion coming from South of the base. Zetsu emerged from the floor and looked at Sakura. "We're under attack." He said.
Sakura raised an eyebrow and said "So that wasn't Deidara?" Zetsu shook his head and said "Deidara follows his explosion with an 'art is a bang.'"
"Well then, I think we should counter attack." Sakura said, grabbing a kunai. "Sorry pink b**tch but we can't let some sh**ty woman fight for us." Hidan came in, his dirty mouth holding a smirk. He gripped his scythe and was about to run South until Konan blocked his path with two intruders at hand. "Looks like that sh**ty woman bit you to it." Konan said monotonously.
"How did you get there so fast?" Sakura asked. "I happened to be there when they trespassed." Konan answered. "Well fanf**kingtastic." Hidan said sarcastically plopping down on the sofa.
A few minutes later, everyone came in the living room, well, except for Tobi. "Tobi is late! Tobi is sorry! Tobi is a good boy!" Tobi shouted, running as fast as he can towards the living room. He tried stopping but he ended up crashing into Deidara. "TOBI, un!!" Deidara shouted.
"Is everybody here?" Pein asked. "Hai." Konan answered. "Alright then. Be back at 9pm." Pein said, walking away but was stopped when Sakura gripped his sleeve. "You're coming with us." She said, making everyone look at her in shock. 'She has a death wish.' Everybody thought.
