"The tree isn't the heart of the village. It's where the village ends. There's someone residing there which wants us dead. The others might already be there." Zetsu explained, freaking Tobi out. "Tobi says we go save the others, Zetsu-senpai!" Tobi shouted, running towards it with Zetsu hot on his tail.
"Ne, Zetsu-senpai! Tobi wonders how you know all this." Tobi said, running. "The tree spoke to me." Zetsu answered. "Tobi knew Zetsu-senpai was half plant!" Tobi shouted, earning himself a hit over the head from black Zetsu.
A few minutes later, the base of the tree came into view.
Itachi, Sakura, and Kisame (a few minutes before Zetsu and Tobi's conversation.)...
'Help me.' A voice rang inside the trio's heads. "Who was that?" Kisame asked, looking around. 'Help me. The dark god turned me into a tree.' The voice said. "This is creeping me out." Sakura said, searching for the voice. Itachi pointed at the gigantic tree, making Sakura and Kisame look too.
"Hn. It's the tree." Itachi said monotonously. "How did you know?" Kisame asked. "Instincts." Itachi answered, running towards it, with the two hot on his trails.
The tree came into view. There, they saw Deidara and Sasori and Hidan and Kakuzu. "Hey, it's f**king you guys." Hidan said, grinning. "We just came here to get some answers." Sasori said. "Answers?" Kakuzu asked. The three groups explained what they know to each other.
A few minutes later, Hidan, Kakuzu, Itachi, Kisame and Sakura stared at the artists in shock. "What did you just say?" Kakuzu asked. "A pillar of darkness engulfed a dwarf angel, un." Deidara said. "One angel said it was a judgement." Sasori said. "And we think that this tree has the answers, un." Deidara said, standing up. "This tree is alive." Sakura said, making the men look at her in confusion.
"The tree spoke to us. It said that it was turned into a tree by the dark god." Kisame explained for Sakura. "Let's just get this f**king over with and go in." Hidan said, grabbing a hold of his scythe. The others stood up and walked inside.
As soon as they set foot in the tree, they felt a deadly aura coming from deeper inside, sending chills down their spines. "What the f**k was that?!" Hidan shouted. Kakuzu wrapped several threads on Hidan's mouth to shut him up. "What the f**k, un?!" Deidara whispered to Hidan. "Ever heard of an infiltration mission, you dumba**?!" Sakura whispered to Hidan, glaring.
The group continued with Hidan being dragged by Kakuzu's thread. The group walked peacefully but cautiously for a few minutes.
Tobi and Zetsu...
The duo ran towards the tree. "They're still outside. Let's hurry." Zetsu said. They arrived but sadly found no one. "We were too late." Tobi said.
"Come on." Zetsu said, walking in the tree.
Itachi, Sakura, Kisame, Deidara, Sasori, Hidan and Kakuzu...
The group came upon four tunnels. Trial of leeches, trial of spiders, trial of roaches and trial of butterflies. "Let's not split up. Please." Kisame said, sweat dropping. "I f**king agree." Hidan answered. "Let's go with butterflies." Sakura said, making everyone nod in agreement. With that they entered the trial of butterflies.
