Chapter 50: Unraveled Truth

The ANBU made handsigns. Itachi's eyes widened when he saw a pair of water Twin Dragons coming his way. 'Not enough time!' Itachi thought, hitting an ANBU's pressure point. The dragons were only a few centimeters away before he saw a back bravely shield him from the jutsu.

"What the f**k?! You b**ch!" Hidan suddenly shouted. Itachi's world stopped when he saw pink hair. His Sharingan spun dangerously and put all the ANBU into a powerful genjutsu. "SAKURA!" Everyone shouted as they saw her collapse.

"Sakura." Itachi said, grabbing Sakura and laying her head on his lap. "Hey! You sh**ty ragdoll, hurry, stitch me up!" Hidan shouted as Kakuzu complied. "It'll cost a hundred yen." He said. "F**k you." Hidan retaliated as Kakuzu began his work.

Itachi fanned Sakura as Sakura's eyes slowly opened. "Just....tired...." Sakura whispered, panting as she grinned at him. "You...actually used that jutsu I taught you, un." Deidara said with pride present in his eyes. "It's...useful at times... like this." Sakura weakly said as she fell asleep on Itachi's lap.

"She's too reckless for her own good." Kisame said, shaking his head. "Should we tie her up?" Sasori asked, taking out chakra ropes. "That's too cruel, dattebayo!" Naruto shouted as he tried to take away the chakra rope from Sasori.

"Let's take her to her room." Kakuzu said as Itachi carried Sakura bridal style and made his way towards her room. "I'll take care of these rotten meats." Zetsu said with annoyance present in his eyes. "I'll check their pockets for pocket money. They're paying for the property." Kakuzu said. "Please do." Kisame said, grinning as they walked away. "F**king money freak." Hidan mumbled as he walked away.

A few hours later, Sakura woke up with a massive body pain. She let out a loud groan as she sat up. "That jutsu was too painful and too draining for it's own good. So that's why Deidara said not to use it too much." Sakura thoughtfully said. "Focus tons of chakra into one area to make it hard as steel, huh?" She wondered, giggling.

A series of knocks were heard. Sakura smiled and gave permission to enter. The door opened only to reveal Itachi and Naruto. "He finally asked me what he wanted to ask." Itachi monotonously said. "What did he ask?" Sakura said. "What actually happened to the Uchiha massacre, Dattebayo." Naruto said, making Sakura look at him in disbelief.

"Then shouldn't you be talking about this in private?" Sakura asked. Itachi simply shook his head at this. "I also wanted to let you know." He said. "Are you actually fine with that?" Sakura asked raising an eyebrow. Itachi nodded at this. "I found you worthy after you bravely saved a comrade." Itachi monotonously said.

"The Uchiha massacre was actually an S-rank mission given to me by the elders." Itachi started. "I was to keep it a secret and I was to run away as a rogue nin after I massacre my clan." Sakura and Naruto listened to Itachi with pure interest. "Then why is Sasuke-teme alive?" Naruto asked. "I asked the elders if I can leave my brother alive." Itachi stated. "They were having second thoughts but at the end, they complied."

"Why didn't you tell Sasuke about this?" Sakura asked, looking at Itachi with sadness in her eyes. "If I told him, he would surely follow me and become a rogue nin at a young age. I want him to kill me with his own two hands. To punish me for my unforgivable sins." Itachi said. "Alright, I'll shove it on his face that you're a good brother with my fist, dattebayo!" Naruto shouted grinning as he punched his palm.

Sakura twitched at this and hit him over the head. "You can't do that. Let Itachi do it." Sakura said. "But Itachi would already be dying by the time Sasuke finds out the truth." Sakura solemnly said. "I'll make sure I'll leave a memory." Itachi said, smiling at Sakura.

"We don't want you to only be a memory, dattebayo. I might've hated you before but that's only because I only thought I knew you, the true you, dattebayo." Naruto said, grinning at Itachi. "First thing we have to do is beat the h**l out of Kabuto." Sakura said, grinning. "Yeah, dattebayo!" "You're quite a loud and lively bunch." Itachi monotonously said, smiling as he watched the two get fired up.
