I strolled through the market, my fingers intertwined with Dimitri's. We were both listening for the sound of music, and we had both heard nothing since we started searching.

"Time to call it quits?" he questioned. I sighed.

"I think so," I murmured. "Let's head back."

We walked back to the castle in silence, both of us thinking about the riddle.

"I've got it!" he shouted, startling the few people near the castle's beautiful courtyard.

"Shhh, you idiot," I whisper-yelled.

"Verbally abusive girlfriend," he muttered. I snorted. "I remembered where the band usually plays."

"Eureka!" I shouted dramatically. A group of young-looking fairies glared at us. I winked, and waved at their scowling group. "Let's find the others and go to the band."

We walked to the courtyard, and found the rest of the group there, waiting for us.

"We think we know where the band plays, but let's get lunch first," I said, grinning at my friends. I heard a couple of cheers, and turned around, heading back to the market. We stopped at a booth, and grabbed a couple of foreign-looking foods.

"What the hell is this?" Addy asked, poking the jiggly food with her pinky finger.

"I dunno, but it's delicious," Liam responded. She took a hesitant bite, and her eyes widened.

"Woah," she murmured.

"Woah." Liam agreed. Once everyone had finished, we were on our way. Dimitri led us deep into the market, through alleys and past a couple of sketchy looking people. He stopped in front of a heavy wooden door, and grinned at us.

"Welcome," he started. "To Dana's." he said. He opened the door, revealing a family-friendly diner. A couple of waitresses strolled around the room with food, passing into the kitchen, and out again. A sign hung over the kitchen entrance, stating 'Dana's Diner' in bold, lit up letters. There seemed to be two rooms, connected by a pair of heavy wooden doors, a string of christmas lights strung over them

"Let's head to the bar side," Dimitri said. We all headed over to the doors, and they opened for us.

"Oh god," I scowled at the idiots in this room. A sign above the bar said 'Dana's Bar'. The room we walked into was the bar area, complete with obnoxious drunks, a foosball table, and a pool table. The bartender was a woman, and she was frantically shaking a bottle in her right hand, while placing a tiny umbrella in a fruity-looking drink with her left.

"Jesus," I said, side-stepping a were with lusty eyes. I wasn't wearing showy clothing, unlike most girls here. My white shorts, gray tank, and beige cardigan covered more skin than the waitress's clothing did. Dimitri grabbed my hand, and glared. Suddenly, Addy pulled on my shoulder.

"Look!" she pointed at a stage in the corner of the room. A band was playing in a corner, covering pop songs.

"Damn, they're good!" Delina commented.

"Mmm, and that mer looks yummy," Araxie murmured, blinking at a man on the stage. Once the music stopped, I stalked over to the stage.

"I need to speak with the bass player," I shouted over the ruckus.

"What?!" the singer yelled.

"I need to speak with the bass player!"

"You peed on the beak of an egg layer?!"
