"Honestly, I don't know why we're going today," I grumbled.

"Oh, I dunno. Maybe because your powers are too strong, too different from mine for ME teach you about them," he said, rolling his eyes.

"Too strong?" I asked, shocked. "Didn't you say your power was one of the rarest?"

"That I did, Kacie," he said. "However, yours is the rarest. Not to mention that only a few people outside of the royal bloodlines have multiple powers."

"Wait, so that means I'm either a royal, or one of few peop- I mean vampires, sorry, that has powers equal to that of one," I said, shocked.

"Yup," he said, popping the 'p'. "Are you ready?"

"I am when you are," I said, rolling my eyes.

"Kay, let's go!" he said. "Grab my hand."

"Why?" I asked.

"So you don't hit anything on the way out," he said in a 'duh' tone of voice.

"Um, honey, I'm not human anymore," I commented, in an even heavier 'duh' accent.

"Oh yeah! I forgot," he said.

"Okay, let's go," I said, half asking.

He led me into the tunnel, and we started our journey.

We walked for a while, until we reached the portion of the tunnel we entered his underground home from.

"This is it, honey," he said, smirking. "Now, when we exit, there may be a few mystics outside. They may have smelled you when you turned."

"Through the dirt?" I asked, shocked.

"Yup," he said. "The scent of your turning was overwhelming, honestly."

"Was it," I stumbled over my words, searching for the right one. "Stinky? I dunno, bad?"

"No, honestly," he said, quieter. "It was almost... Attracting."

I flushed, the heat creeping up my cheeks.

"Okay," I said, trying to shake off the embarrassment he had just put me through. "Are we ready?"

"I do believe we are, dearest Kacie!"

With that, he climbed up the ladder, and popped the covering open.He peeked out, and nodded his head towards me, gesturing for me to climb after him. I waited until he exited, and hear a gasp of breath.

"Russo?" I called. "You alright?"

"Just fine, darling," he said. "Come on up."

I exited the tunnel, and closed the trapdoor behind me. I turned around, looking for Dimitri, and was surprised to find him in the arms of a tough looking dude, struggling to get away from him.

"Dee?" I said, shocked. "Why the hell would you tell me to come up here if there was a threat up here? You know I can't defend myself!"

I winked.

He screamed against the hand of the guy, eyes wide, and looking behind me.

I rolled my eyes.

I flipped around, tripping the bitch who was coming up behind me, not knowing that I knew she was there. She fell to the ground, scrambling up off her ass. I cracked my neck. She charged at me, angry. She let out an obnoxious scream, and I clutched my ears, crumpling to the ground. Dimitri panicked, flailing around. The girl grabbed me by the arm, pulling me up roughly. I shook my head, faking pain.

"No, no, no, no, no," I cried out, still clutching my ears. The girl cackled, and the guy joined in.

"Aww, the newbie's ears a sore," she cackled louder.

I'm calling that bitch Ding.

"The poor, poor dear," the guy joined in.

I'm calling that douche Dong.

She was laughing so hard, her grip on me loosened. I noticed immediately, and looked over at Dimitri, giving him a subtle nod. He saw it, and gave one back. I smirked slightly.

"You ready?" I mouthed.

"After you," he mouthed back. I nodded.

I threw my arms back, twisting out of Ding's embrace and flipping over her puny body. I grabbed her in a chokehold, and watched Dimitri do the same to Dong, except he grabbed Dong's head, and prepped to snap his neck

"Game. Over," I snarled. "Who, and what are you?"

Ding spoke first.

"Let us go, you nasty fucking vampires!" she screamed, flailing as I had been.

"Watch your language, mutt," Dimitri snarled. "These nasty fucking vampires are about to kill you and your mate."

At that, they both stopped struggling.

"My name is Liam," said Dong. "This is Addy."

"Full name?" I asked, cocking my head.

"Adriana," Ding snarled. "Whore."

I tightened my grip, ready to kill.

Dimitri looked at me, and mouthed a sentence.

"Use the vines!"

I nodded, and took a step back, as did Dimitri. They took off into the forest, no doubt thinking it would keep them safe. I channeled my anger into the forest, commanding the plants to follow my will.

Bring them back.

The trees snapped aside, parting like the Red Sea. I felt the forest throw a vine towards them, and I felt the vine grab them, as if it were my hand. I felt it wrap around them, coating their wolf bodies, mummifying them. I felt it drag them back, and I knew that it felt my anger. I knew that it felt my need to get them back. It flung them towards us, the trees snapping back into place as if nothing happened. Ding and Dong were flung back to us, wrapped in vines. I could see the vines stretching, and knew that they had shifted back.

"Alright, Liam and Addy," I smirked. "Give me a decent reason to keep you alive, and maybe I will."

They both paled, and looked at each other.
