78. Merry Christmas

"I need a haircut," I spoke aloud as I pulled one of my curls past my chin and down my neck, and I let it go and it bounced in place before covering my eye, and I moved my hand through my hair to push it behind my head.

I grabbed the beanie I had and put it on, and let out a sigh, and grabbed my guitar that was beside me. "You're worried about your hair when there's about to be a million people in your house?" Lexi asked me and I shrugged.

I've had tons of house parties and this would be nothing compared to the amount of people that would be at those parties.

"I'm not all that worried about it." I shrugged and pushed my glasses back on my nose, and my fingers played the strings.

Today was Christmas and Elizabeth and her family was coming over, along with my family (Mom and Dad), since this was Adonis' first Christmas I wanted him to be able to spend it with his family, and I obviously wanted to spend Christmas with Royalty.

So it made sense to have them both here instead of spending some time of the day with one and then the other.

I had already talked to Elizabeth and Lexi, (more so Lexi) I told them I wanted to spend Christmas with my kids drama-free, I just wanted to focus on them for the day and nothing else.

I had been so preoccupied with everything else so I wanted today to be about them, I was managing my tour and how I was gonna start it again, I had added a couple of shows to compensate for canceling and then I was focusing on that bullshit with the kids.

I still didn't even know if he was mine or not, I'm only counting Fivey cause I know Albino isn't mine.

I had told Mike I didn't want to see the results until after Christmas because if they ended up being mine it would ruin my mood and I would make this day suck ass for Ro and Doni.

"Mama, can you sing?" Ro asked me and I asked her what she wanted me to sing. "Christmas song!" She said and I leaned back into the couch and thought of one.

"It's the most wonderful time of the year
There'll be much mistletoeing
And hearts will be glowing when loved ones are near
It's the most wonderful time of the year"

I sang and Ro nodded her head along with the music and I had to think of the next lyrics that would come.

"There'll be parties for hosting
Marshmallows for toasting
And caroling out in the snow
There'll be scary ghost stories
And tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago"

I smiled as I watched Royalty dance happily and I looked at Lexi who had a smile on her face as she watched our daughter, without a care in the world.

"It's the most wonderful time of the year" I finished with a strum of the guitar and she giggled and there was a knock at the door and I looked over and I sighed and I stood up and I put my guitar on the stand.

"Be cool," I said to Lexi who rolled her eyes, and I went to the door and opened it, seeing Elizabeth and her family. "Hey, Merry Christmas."

Elizabeth gave me a small smile, and she repeated the greeting and I looked at Doni in her arms, I had agreed to let him go with her since she was his mother and it was clear he loved her, and keeping him away from her wouldn't do any good to either of them.

It's not like I had the power to do that either way:

"Hi, baby," I said my smile widening and he reached for me and Elizabeth let him go to me, and I kissed his cheek and I greeted her sisters, mother, and father as they came in.
