"COUNTRY GIRL, SHAKE IT FOR ME GIRL, SHAKE IT FOR ME GIRL, SHAKE IT FOR ME!" Mackenzie (Mac) Harper shouted at the top of her lungs. She was driving along the highway and couldn't get that stupid Luke Bryan song out of her head! She had played it 47 times on repeat so far, she counted. There was nothing to look at for miles so this was all of the entertainment she had had for a while. Driving to stay with her cousin Sophie for the summer, maybe longer, in Bloomingfield (made up!) it was a fairly small town, about 1,000 people.
She has only been to the town once when she was five years old. She lived about 12 hours away and wasn't fairly close with Sophie. But that was going to change. She needed a friend. Something to get her mind off of what had happened less then a week ago. She wanted to get away from the town filled with people talking about what her personal life consisted of and how it all fell to shambles.
When she pulled up to the house in her little red bug. "Mac???"
"Soph?"
Sophie ran towards her and hugged her tight.
"How are ya!?"
"Umm, great!"
"Good! Now Mac, there's not many clubs out here, but there are a few. What do you say we go tonight?"
"Uhh, I don't know. I-"
"No buts about it! You're going!"

"He is soooooo checking you out!" Sophie told Mac over the blaring music. There was a guy with two others sitting over by the bar and Mac had noticed the one guy looking a few times. He had short brown hair and piercing green eyes that could be seen from across the room.
"Go talk to him!" Sophie told her..
"Are you crazy? I don't even know him!"
"Go over to the bar, order us two more shots, and bump into him, simple." She said and shoved me forward.
Mac sighed. "All right."
(Mac's POV)
I readjusted my navy blue summer dress and fixed my long blonde hair, pushing it behind me. I made my way through the crowd and ordered our drinks. I was sitting at a stool waiting for them, right next to the guys from earlier. "Hey sweet thang, you taken?" One slurred. He smelled like he had taken a swim in a pool full of whiskey.
He came closer and leaned in my face. "You bored? I can show you a good-"
"Leave her alone," green eyes whispered from behind him. Whiskey boy turned around.
"Boy, tell me you don't see this beauty sitting here and don't wana-"
"I SAID leave her alone'" whoever he was said. I was a little surprised. I got my drinks and walked off.
"She probably wouldn't take any of you before me. She obviously didnt want any of you and all of me," whiskey boy said. I decided to have some fun and show him that I didn't want his whiskey breath anywhere near me. I walked back over to the group of guys. The drunk one stood up and smiled at me with a devilish grin. "Come back for me already?"
I shook my head.
"Not exactly," I said. I turned to the boy who had stood up for me. He was looking at me with a confused look. I walked over and gave him a passionate kiss that seemed to last for ages. He kissed me back, but I could feel the confusion against my lips. I pulled away an turned to the other guy.
"Looks like I was a little busy at the moment, sorry," I smirked and left.
I downed a few more shots and went out to the dancefloor. I let the alcahol sink in and found it easier to lose control of my true feelings this way.
A little while of me being out on the dancefloor, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I didt turn around. The person was a lot taller than me, and I felt them lean down and put their face by my ear.
"Dance with me," the voice whispered.
I turned to see green eyes looking down at me.
