(Macs pov )

I was flipping through the television channels, trying to find some, thing interesting to watch. I had had a month off of work so my four broken ribs and messed up face could heal, and had found out that daytime television was so boring.

I heard a click, indicating that someone was now home.

"Sophie?"

A tall figure with a slight hobble to his step came in instead.

"Mason! How was the doctors??"

He walked over to the couch I was currently sitting on and sat down.

"They said I need a few more sessions of physical therapy before Im officially healed, but I'm feeling a lot better." He smiled at me and tried to give me a hug, but I was still healing as well and that was a no go for me.
I felt a burning sensation the second I slightly turned in to hug him and immediately winced in pain.

"Maybe this isn't the best idea right now."

He nodded his head in understanding and we both sat there watching tv for a while, Our broken selves.

Rachel came over to help mason and I with, well, everything for the evening.
She brought us some dinner, helped us get up to stretch our legs for a bit, and then back to the couch to settle in for a quiet movie together.
She sat in between us, which was oddly very cute.
When masons snores could be heard from the other side of Rachel, she leaned into my ear and giggled.

"So when's the wedding?"

"H-h-how do you know about that?" I whispered.

"Mac, I know everything! If y'all were famous, I'd be your biggest fan! Don't worry, I'll keep it a secret till you tell mom and daddy, as long as I can come of course!"

"Rachel, of course! You can't not invite your flower girl to a wedding!"

Her face widened into the biggest smile I have ever seen.
My face turned pale, well paler than normal.
She wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug that had me coughing uncomfortably at the contact my ribs were getting. She quickly pulled away and said sorry, and Mason was now starting to toss and turn.

He was mumbling some nonsense in his sleep, when I heard him say my name. What.

"Aww he even talks about you in his sleep! He's adorable!" Rachel cooed and pinched his big brothers cheeks, causing me to laugh along with her.
"Yeah, he's pretty adorable."

(Masons pov)

"Mac! We've gotta go darlin! Are you almost-"

Oh my god.

Mac walked into the kitchen where I was leaning against her countertop, looking the most beautiful I have ever seen her.
She was wearing a strapless red dress, that went to just above the knee, and made her curves look amazing. She was breathtaking

. She walked towards me and fidgeted with her curled hair, looking at me for approval. If she only knew exactly how much I love her.

"Babe, you look, .....well amazing."

She giggled at my speechlessness and gave me a quick peck on the lips.

We were going to a dinner party thrown for us by a few friends of ours as a kind of 'welcome back' party, now that Mac and I were all officially healed and given a clean bill of health.

"Mason, stop staring." She giggled at me while I couldn't take my eyes off of her.

I pulled her close and wrapped my arms around her.

"You're just lucky people are expecting us in a few minutes, or I would have to have my way with you." I whispered against her neck, causing her whole body to freeze and shiver.

She closed her eyes and leaned her head against my chest. I wrapped my arms around her tighter, not wanting to let go ever.
She peered up to me through her lashes with those damn beautiful eyes and grinned.

"It's always good to be fashionably late."
