David, Theresa, Rachel, mason and I had all gone out to dinner the following evening.
We were sitting at Pattys diner in silence when Rachel chimed in.
"So Mac, you're coming back after your little 'vacation home' tomorrow right???"
"Of course Rachel! I couldn't leave you here to be with just your brother for the rest of the summer! I'm not THAT mean!" I teased.
She and her parents all started laughing, and mason was trying not to smile.
"Well miss Harper, I'll have you know I'm a lot of fun to be around! I mean why else would you still be here?"
"Hmm good point." I giggled
"And I'm glad you have decided to stay darlin. But are you sure you don't want me to come with you to talk to your aunt?"
"I better just do it alone. But thank you Mason. And don't worry! I'll be coming back. I promise!"

"I can't believe this will be our last slumber party before you leave," Mason said as we snuggled up on the couch to watch a movie. We were watching P.S. I Love You, for the millionth time. It was my favorite movie. What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic. The main character has a thick Irish accent and it just makes the movie about ten times better.
"It does now huh?" Mason said and raised his eyebrows at me.
"Did I say that out loud?" I blushed
Yeah you did. But you do like me more right?"
"Aww are you jealous?! That's adorable!" I said and pinched his cheeks.
"Oh that's it!" He said and started to tickle me. I squirmed around looking like I had ants in my pants.
"Mason st-stop!"

The next morning-
I don't want you to leave Mac!" Sophie said as she hugged me. I was standing outside my car waiting for Sophie and mason to let me go.
"I'll be back in a few days guys."
"You better!" Mason said and pulled me to him for a long, sweet kiss. We both smiled into the kiss and made it a long one.
"See you soon mason."
"Lo-.......see you soon."
