Julianna wasn't entirely sure why she and Eli sat at the Gomez dinner table tonight, but she wasn't complaining.

Senior year was getting closer and closer to an end. More acceptances were coming out and because of that and the Sekai Taikai only needing one more fight, celebrations started happening left and right.

Just the night before, Jules helped Miguel figure out an outfit for his dinner with the LaRusso's to celebrate his win in the Sekai Taikai, Sam's acceptance into her program in Okinawa, and Miguel's acceptance into Stanford, which he was going to reveal at the dinner.

So it wasn't really a surprise that sooner or later, Jules and Eli would get their own celebratory dinner for the Sekai Taikai win and their college acceptances.

Jules just wasn't expecting it to be with Lexi and Demetri too.

But there they were, the four of them crowded around Lexi's family dinner table. Demetri and Lexi sat on one side while Jules and Eli sat across from them and at the head of the table was Lexi's mom, Andrea.

As Andrea placed the lasagna onto the table, Jules smiled up at the woman. "Thank you, Andrea." She hummed softly and Andrea, who was standing beside Jules as she put the dish down, chuckled at the blonde and lightly rubbed her shoulder.

"Yes, thank you." Eli said to the woman as his eyes followed her to her seat on his right. "And thank you for having us, Mrs. Gomez." He added, earning an immediate scoff and wave of the hand from Andrea.

"Eli, sweetheart. It's been years. You know you can call me 'Andrea.'" The woman insisted and Julianna licked her teeth to hold back smirking, her mind going to just a few days ago when Eli said he'd never call Lexi's mom by her first name.

"That's what I've been saying..." Jules muttered as she brought her glass of water to her lips. Eli slowly turned to Jules, shooting her a small look, but she could see the smile fighting its way onto his face. When he finally broke and his smile spread, a scoffed laugh left the second his lips cracked and he turned his head.

Julianna smiled to herself triumphantly and even though he couldn't see it, Eli knew she was. He could feel it. So—still looking away from Jules—Eli kicked his leg under the table, the point of his foot hitting Julianna's shin.

In an instant, Julianna's smile was wiped from her face. "Ow!" She whispered under her breath, loud enough for Eli, Lexi, and Demetri to hear, but not Andrea since she was at the other end of the table.

The woman continued to wave off Eli for his last words, shaking her head and laughing under her breath. "And it's no need to thank me. Joey's over at the Taylor's to celebrate Moon getting into USC, so I figured why not have Demetri over to celebrate Lexi's acceptance into NYU and Demetri's acceptance into MIT." Andrea praised, smiling and gesturing to Lexi and Demetri on her right.
