~*Wei Wuxian's POV*~
It's finally the day Lan Zhan and I marry. San Bao is decorated and decked out, Gusu Lan is here for the ceremony, and we were now just getting ready. I was in my private quarters with Baoshan and a few other disciples. They were helping with some last minute preparations on my robes.
"You look nice in red, A'Ying," Baoshan said.
I smiled, "I suppose I do," I said.
"You nervous?" She asked.
"A little, I just do not want anything to go wrong today," I said.
"I have this place on full alert. I have security set up everywhere. Anyone tries anything and we will know immediately," she told me.
I let out a sigh, "I appreciate it."
She nodded. After a few minutes, we were needed at the ancestral hall for the ceremony. Lan Zhan soon arrived and I immediately felt relaxed. I hated the separation even though it was tradition. I was just glad I have him now.
The ceremony was a success, and we had a small banquet afterwards with everyone. As much as Lan Zhan and I were enjoying ourselves, we had our guards up a little. We had people secretly watching over Zewu Jun. He hasn't done anything suspicious which is a good thing. Lan Zhan and I want to trust him, but we do not trust the people he hangs with.
He came up to us after we ate for a small conversation, "congratulations on your marriage," he said, "I had long hoped you two would at least make friends back when you first met, but this is just as good as an outcome."
I laughed, "if I remember correctly, you did tell me how to find the cold springs," I said.
Lan Zhan sighed, "we got engaged we back then."
"What?" I asked.
"Why do you say that?" Zewu Jun asked.
"I told you we fell into the cold caves," Lan Zhan said, "I shared my ribbon with him so he wouldn't get attacked by our family's sacred guqin."
"Why didn't you say so?" Zewu Jun asked.
"Why do you say we got engaged then?" I asked.
"You forget what the ribbon means?" Lan Zhan asked.
"Apologies," I told him.
"It's a sacred thing, only parents, children and their spouses can touch it," Lan Zhan explained.
"And you tied it to my wrist back then," I pointed out.
"I do not regret my decision," he said.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked.
"I thought you knew," he replied.
I nodded, "well I know now."
"Alright, Love birds," Baoshan said interrupting our conversation, "it is time for you to head to your chambers."
I grinned knowing what was coming and honestly, in needed him just as much as I wanted him. He knows that my spiritual energy has been sporadic lately, and he is the only one who can easily get it to balance out. To be honest Lan Zhan and I haven't really done it since our first exchange.
Lan Zhan immediately pulled me away once we said our farewells to everyone. Within the bridal chamber, we went our separate ways momentarily to get out of all these layers of robes. I came back out in just my trousers, and he did the same.
"You had the same idea," I said.
"Less to remove and more time to have you," he said.
I laughed and sat on the bed. I grabbed a small container on the nightstand and handed it to him, "Wen Qing gave me this. She said you'd know what to do with it," I told him.
He took it and removed the lid. He smiled, "oil, perfect," he said.
"I hope you know that I love you and I want to do this not just because of my imbalance of energy," I told him.
"You worried about that?" He asked, "I know."
I let out a sigh of relief and laid back on the bed, "then what are you waiting for?" I asked.
He smiled and set the jar down on the nightstand. He crawled over me, his legs on either side of me and he hovered over me. His lips found mine and i immediately relaxed. I pulled him down and he let his body collapse onto me. My legs wrapped around his waist and my arms around his neck.
I moaned when his hands began to roam. I got impatient and took my trousers off myself. He chuckled knowing I was too worked up already. I do not know what it was, but I just wanted him so desperately tonight, even if it wasn't our wedding night.
"Why am I so...?" I began to ask.
"Baoshan," he said, "she fed us both an aphrodisiac just before we entered the room."
"How?" I asked.
"The dumplings," he said.
It was tradition to have dumplings, they were to be raw but still. Who would have thought Baoshan and Wen Qing would be sneaky and put aphrodisiac in it. They must have noticed that we both needed a really fun boost for tonight.
"Not that I do not mind, but why?" I asked.
"Why not?" He countered and removed his trousers before attacking my lips with his once more.
His body against mine was still the best feeling. Every small movement, every touch, every single sensation, it was enhanced. I begged and begged for him. He happily obliged too. The aphrodisiac seemed to have affected him too, as he was just as riled up.
He was not gentle, and he was not slow. He was rough, he went deep, and he was accurate with every plung he made. I lost track of how much I released, but neither of us wanted to let up. I could feel our energies mixing. My spiritual energy was finally the calmest it has ever been.
I curled more around him and shoved my face into the crook of his neck. I found myself lost in his love, his touch. I was enchanted. He was mine, and he was going to always be mine. It took me some time to trust him after how we first met but he has long since proven himself and I am glad I gave him a chance. I will protect him just as much as I know, he will protect me.
