"All I'm saying is, you look like a mix between a French
Poodle and a Chihuahua. There's nothing wrong with it Evan, admittance is just  the first step."

I sigh. That is all I really can do at this point, because Steven has given me every reason to throw myself off this airplane. I don't know why he has made it his life mission to get under my skin, but he has, and I hate him for it. Five hours. Five long miserable hours I have had to listen to this thing, talk and he isn't finished yet.

"It really explains why you work in a library, as studies have shown that librarians are known to be hot tempered and violent. Hence why they are always angrily telling people to be quiet and annoyingly shushing at any little sound. Wild, angry and vicious, like a Chihuahua."

He sits back in his chair and folds his arms with a smug look across his face. I can't help but roll my eyes for the millionth time this hour.

"You know, Steven. Do you want to  know, what else we librarians are known for."  Steven raises an eyebrow  and shrugs. "Murder, Steven. We are also known for murder, and do you know why?"

His smirk slowly fades as he looks over at Bash, Stoff and the other two Stephens who look just as confused as he does. I stand and slowly start to walk towards him.

"It's because, we spend all of our day reading. I have read every book in my library. So I know exactly how to not only murder you, but I also  how to conceal your body, get rid of the evidence and get away with all of it. Wanna know why, Steven? Because nobody ever suspects the librarian. So think about that before you try to continue to fuck with me."

I casually go back to my seat, picking up my notes that I have taken from my time with Father Criss, and finally bask in the silence. I quickly peek over my notebook to see the all six of them gawking at me, mouths opened to the floor.

"Bash, I think the Father is rubbing off on your wife." Stoff whispers to Bash. All eyes turn to Father Criss who gives them all a polite nod. His chest swelling with pride. Steven gives me one more look before settling into his seat, staring  out the window.

I turn my eyes over to Bash who has done nothing but go over maps, and plans this whole plane ride over. When he told me that we were going on vacation, I was excited at first. I've never been on a vacation and honestly I had never been out of Washington. I thought maybe he was still making plans for things for us to do in Cabo.

I now know that he is  stuck in his search for Daniel Twist. His accident at Twist's house still fresh in his mind, and he refuses to let it go. He has scoured through every resource to try to find Twist's location but to no avail. I don't see how we can enjoy our time together.

A few minutes later Bash comes back to our seats and sliding his seatbelt into place.

"We'll be landing soon, are you excited?"

I try to hide my disappointment, and just smile and nod. Bash takes my small hand into his larger one, giving it a slight squeeze.

"I know what you're thinking."

I try my hardest to play it off, giving him a fake gasp. "You know how I plan to murder Steven before the trips over? How did you figure me out?"

"I heard that."

"It was meant for you to."

He laughs, kissing my cheek.

"I know what you are really thinking. Yes I will admit, that I am a little consumed with finding Daniel. It's just the sooner we locate him the sooner I can ensure that you are and will remain safe. I can't help but feel he is planning something and I need to stop him before he does."

"I understand and I want us all safe too. But you didn't bring me on vacation to relieve my stress, only for you to stress yourself too. I want us to enjoy our time here."

He kisses the side of my head.

"We will, I promise you."

Twenty minutes later we are standing on the tarmac as our luggage is being unloaded. Bash has gotten us drivers for our trip, Eight black SUVs  waiting to take us to the beach house. Everyone begins to load up, in our designated vehicle. Bash and I ride together with Father Criss and Stoff ride in the SUV ahead of us. Behind us are two of the three Steven's and one of Bash's many guards. Steven had somewhere to go, saying he had a surprise for us. More than likely he is going to find someone to stick his dick into.

The night time air surrounds us as the amazing smell of the ocean greets us as we make our way down the long road. San Lucas is beautiful. The rich smells from restaurants and food trucks fills the air. There are bars and night clubs everywhere. Beautiful golden sandy beaches and the allure of the mountains makes my heart swell. I can't believe I have missed out on seeing such an amazing place.

"This place is incredible." I sigh dreamily.

Bash smiles and laces our fingers. " It really its. Wait until you seed the house."

After a few minutes of driving of driving we finally reach the beach house, and it isn't just a house. Its an incredible three story Spanish villa surrounded by a beautiful garden filled with roses, tulips and hibiscus of all colors. The home itself is accented with tans and browns, giving it a true Spanish flare. The soft glow from inside the house gives off a  true homely feeling that is so warm and inviting. The sides of the house has natural vines running up giving it a sort of rustic feel. In the background another beautiful mountain tying in all of the natural beauty of the home.

It's all so magically. The beauty of the home, the sounds of the waves hitting the pier, the natural surroundings; the sound of Steven screaming followed by a foghorn... wait a second. We all turn  around in time to see Steven at the helm of a small yacht, pulling up to the pier. By the astonished looks on the guys faces, I can only assume they weren't expecting this either.

Bash and the twins hurry over to the pier and they seem a little exasperated. At least I'm not the only one being pissed off by him. He stands there, arms crossed looking beyond proud of himself. Father Criss walks by me with a grumble.

"It's gonna be a long fucking week." I can't help the snicker that leaves my lips and we heads into the house. I walk down to the pier shaking my head. This idiot never ceases to amaze me.

"Steven." Bash sighs. "What the fuck is this?"

The dumb ass looks around like he doesn't know what Bash is talking about.

"Oh! You mean this. It's a yacht."

"I can clearly see that Steven. We haven't been in Cabo for more than an hour, where the fuck did you get a yacht?"

"I've got my resources."

"Resources. Ok Enjoy your boat Steven, because you're sleeping on it tonight."

Everyone turns and starts heading into the house.

"So nobody likes my surprise? Not even you Evan? I thought all dogs like the open sea."

"It's an ocean you idiot, fuck off." I yell as I walk away, giving him the finger.

"Oh ok. Mr.  smarty ass. You guys might be judging now, but come tomorrow, you all are going to be loving me and my yacht."

Nobody responds, everyone too tired from the flight and dealing with him all day. I really can't help but to agree with Father Criss, this is going to be a long week.
