I'm as excited as a school girl on prom night. Not only have I been successfully semi dating Evan for two weeks; and yes I said semi dating. I haven't exactly asked him out yet, but it's on the to do list. But he also agreed to go with me to a yacht party. Did I mention to him it was a yacht party? Oh well, I'm sure it will be fine.
I took him out this afternoon to get a suit and he looked completely stunning in it. I can't wait to see him in it after the glam squad gets him ready. I'm currently putting the finishing touches on my hair when my phone starts to ring. Looking down Evan's picture comes up on my screen. The cutest picture from our date where I actually caught him smiling. He's so pretty.
"Hi beautiful." I can almost see his cheeks blazing from his blush. He get's embarrassed so easily, I have no idea why.
"Bash!" He whisper screams at me through the phone.
"Yes my wifey?" He growls and it takes everything in me to not coo. He is the cutest thing ever, I don't think he knows it.
"We are going to circle back to the wifey thing but first; why is there a hoard of people on my doorstep?" I think for a second.
"Oh you mean the glam squad? They are there to get you ready. Don't worry, they are all professionals and have had an extensive background check." I'm trying to show him I can be a very caring and attentive boyfriend. I'm sure it's working. He groans and it makes me swoon.
"Can you not send strange people to my house without telling me first? What were you thinking?"
" I just wanted you to look and feel perfect tonight. That was my only intention I promise."Listen Evan, it's fine. Let them pamper you ok, it's only for one night I promise." He goes quiet for a while and quietly sighs.
"Fine, one night." I internally cheer. He's going to look amazing and I can't wait to see him.
"Great, they'll get you ready and I'll see you in an hour." He quickly hangs up the phone. He might be a little upset with me. I sit down with the Stevens and go over the security detail. Stoff will stay by my side as usual. Everything should go smoothly tonight with no issues.
After awhile I climb into the limo as the other four follow behind in their own separate car. We pull up to Evan's house and I have butterflies. I don't think I have ever been this nervous in my entire life. I step out of the limo, sending Evan a quick message letting him know I was here. I grab the bouquet of flowers from Stoff and make my way to the front door.
I raise my hand to knock and the door slowly opens, and my mouth drops. Evan comes into view with a shy smile. His navy blue lapel neck jacket and skin tight white shirt looked just as perfect as it did in the store we shopped. His matching navy blue pants hugged his ass in all the right places, and mine start to feel a little tight. His outfit compliments my black blazer, tan dress shirt and black slacks.
I hand him the flowers and kiss his cheek softly.
"You look incredible." He smiles and hugs me.
"Thanks Bash, you look great too." He quickly takes the flowers into the house then comes back out and locks his door. I offer my arm and surprisingly he takes it as we walk back to the limo. The driver opens the door and I offer Evan my hand as he slides inside. Carefully closing the door behind him, I make my way over to the other side of the car as the driver opens the door for me. I slide inside and close the privacy glass. Pouring a glass of champagne I offer it to my stunning date.
" how was your week?" I ask as I pour myself a glass.
"It was good, very busy. That annoying Mr. Roberts from the bank showed up at my house again."
He definitely had my full attention now. "Christopher Roberts? From the Paris bank?" He nods as he takes a sip.
"Do you know him?" Of course I know the sleezeball. The Stevens caught him trying to assault a woman in one of my clubs. He definitely isn't anyone I want around Evan.
"Yeah, I know him. His dad plays golf with mine on occasion. He's definitely a creep to say the least. Why has he been coming to your house?"
"I'm not sure honestly. He has been coming around for years trying to get me to sale my house." So I wonder if the rumors are true then. People around town seem to think that Evan's house sits on an oil field. It's not been tested though. If it's something Evan wants to look into I could definitely do that for him. It would be up to him though.
"It probably has something to do with people thinking there is oil on your land. We could look into it if you wanted to." He nods slowly.
"I've never heard that. I'll think it over though." He smiles, starts looking out the window. "We're by the water? Where is this party exactly?"
"It's on a yacht." He sputters spewing his champagne all over the seat in front of him.
"What do you mean a yacht?!" He yells. He doesn't asks me to stop the car so this is going better than I thought it would.
"I thought I mentioned it was a yacht party, that minor detail must have slipped my mind. You look amazing though and it's going to be a lot of fun." He sighs and glares at me, but I can tell his on board. At that moment we pull up to the shore line, a number of boats line the waterline. I get out and walk around the car to open his door. The yacht is a short distance from the car so it doesn't take us long to walk across the pier.
We are greeted by a waiter who offers us drinks as we walk across the companionway. As we are guided to the upper level I give Evan a brief rundown of the people we may encounter. The usual bank owners, tech moguls and the wannabes that like to get into the mix.
As we reach the top level there are people socializing everywhere. We find an empty table and have a seat. It wasn't long before we are served drinks and hors d'oeuvres.
"It's so beautiful up here." Evan says dreamily. The atmosphere is perfect, there is soft music playing and this moment is absolutely perfect. I reach over and take Evan's hand in mine. I don't think anything can ruin this moment.
I thought this may be the perfect moment to give Evan the gift I gave him.
"Sebastian Covington, I thought that was you." Nothing can ruin this moment, except that. The would be the annoying and slutty Jennifer Sky. She never stops trying to hang off my dick, and for whatever reason cannot except the fact that I am gay. This is the last person, I expected to be here, at least I hoped she wouldn't be. She is good for one thing. She is closely linked to Daniel Twist and sometimes gives pretty good information on him.
She pulls up a seat between Evan and I and I swear I say his eye twitch.
"And who is this cute little thing, a new associate?" Evan looks between Jennifer and I and I can't help but to cringe.
"Jennifer Sky this is my DATE Evan. Evan this is my acquaintance Jennifer."
"Acquaintance? Oh please. I am Bash's ex girlfriend." I think I just died inside.
