Chapter Thirty Six
Daddy Dearest

It had been two weeks since Bronwyn had been kicked out of her childhood home and ran away to live with her boyfriend and his mum. During that time she had heard from most of her siblings. Ginny had written to her almost every other day, the two sisters talking about everything that wasn't to do with their family. Ginny had been rather avoidant with what was going on at home and therefore, Bronwyn just hoped that this meant that the girl was okay and managing well. Rather the sisters talked more about their budding relationships, Bronwyn had heard a bit too much about Ginny and Luna but she was happy that her younger sister was happy. Or well as happy as Ginny could be in that moment considering Neville was more brawn than brain and could not quite come to terms with the idea that the two younger girls wanted to date him. But Ginny was happy, she had not heard from Harry and she was happy to keep things that way.

Fred and George had written both together and separately to Bronwyn over the last few days, the first letter they had sent had been joint when they heard about what their mother had done, the two older brothers offering her a room with them if she wanted it. But now the two boys wrote her separately, from what she gathered they were currently in a disagreement over the name of a product and were giving one another the cold shoulder. She knew the twins bickered frequently despite what the outside world saw, but they would be back to their normal selves soon without fail, once they had finally agreed on a name of the topic. Charlie had written the once but she knew that Charlie probably felt too guilty to actually say anything more if the dried water marks on his letter were anything to go by. And Bill had started to update her about a witch he had met whilst at work that he was really into, strange it had been a familiar name. But Bronwyn couldn't keep herself composed upon knowing that her eldest brother was dating Fleur from the Tri-wizard tournament. Though her initial letter back did warn her brother to never take the girl swimming.

But what hurt the most, was Bronwyn had yet to hear from her dad. She never expected to hear from her mother again, assuming that Sabine was interrupting any Howlers which Molly Weasley was sending her eldest daughter's way. But she had hoped that her dad would write to her. Tell her he loved and missed her or something. But that had never come. But she supposed she had never seen her dad write to Percy when he had been kicked out. So she shouldn't have assumed differently. But it hurt nevertheless.

Percy had not only written to Bronwyn but he had come to see her, he had come everyday following the news of their mother's actions for that first week. Offering her his support his love and his apologies. Ones of which she had shared in, for never writing to him following the time he was banished to the outside world. But Percy held no remorse or anger against Bronwyn. He only held anger at their mother for the older witches actions against both children. And with their last meeting a few days back, he had promised her to let her know what the outcome of asking Oliver Wood out would be. A positive one Bronwyn knew.

Bronwyn found herself sitting in the entertainment room, which had just been a posh way of explaining a room where guests could come up from the public space and spend time with the people who lived on that side of the house. Her mind heavy as she weighed on the reasoning as to why she had not heard from her dad. Wondering if he too held the same beliefs her mother had and that was why she had yet to hear from him. She had her own parchment and quill out on the desk before her, the page blank. She was unsure as to how she was even going to start the letter to the man. The door opened and she knew it could only have been one person to enter without knocking. The house elves would just appear in a little poof beside her, too short to use the handles on the door. Sabine Zabini always knocked before entering, to give the young witch some respect. Blaise took long strides over to where she sat at the makeshift desk to stop before her.
