Chapter Thirty Seven
Step Three

A loud knocking upon her bedroom door was enough to wake Bronwyn up that morning, she groggily stood herself from her warm soft bed and into the cold atmosphere of her bedroom. She was unsure what charms they had used but despite it being the peak of summer Bronwyn's room was always the right temperature and as she took herself to the door she pulled a think silk robe up using it to cover her light pink cami and short set. Her hair remained down, she knew the only people coming to her this morning could see it. And as she opened the door she should have suspected the person on the other side of the door.

After all, only one other person lived in this side of the house. And he stood there looking way more put together than Bronwyn imagined she looked. But upon opening the door and looking at him she was surprised to find Blaise suddenly looked a lot more bashful than she had expected. Until she noticed where his eyes were stuck. She felt the heat coat her shoulders and face before she even registered exactly what he was thinking as he stared at her collarbone. But she watched as he literally shook his head to try to get his mind back on task, but not before catching another look at her hair fully down.

"Morning beautiful, get ready we're going out today." Blaise greeted and Bronwyn raised an eyebrow back at him, she would need way more information than that.

"Come on don't give me that look. You need to get out of this estate, make some new friends, spend some time with me without my mother creeping around every corner." Blaise tried to bribe.

"I have friends."

"Hermione and your sister don't count Win. For me?" And Blaise knew that with his last question that he had her. That would be more than enough to get her to agree and as he watched the resolve on her face disappear he knew it had worked. It would also be a good thing that he had one more surprise for her before they left to sweeten the deal a little more. Well if the box in his pocket was any reminder of his plans.

"I hate that I'm letting you convince me to do this." Bronwyn grumbled but stepped aside letting him into her room, she then watched as Blaise ventured straight towards her wardrobe. The one he had picked out and filled with as much clothing as he could organise. His hands were quick to card their way through the different items, his mind on one specific set of dress robes. Pulling out the navy set embroidered with gold lily's he turned back towards Bronwyn. But her eyes were already locked on him, a warm smile gracing her features.

"That's the one baby?" Bronwyn questioned and Blaise was quick to nod his head enthusiastically at her in response.

"Yes and whilst you get changed I'll pick out the jewellery." Blaise handed over the dress robes and Bronwyn smiled before entering the en-suite attached to her room. Before closing the door, she turned back to take a final look as Blaise focused his energy on picking items out for her to wear. She was thankful that she had at least thought to pick up underwear whilst the teenaged boy was rooting through her wardrobe otherwise it would be rather awkward to head back out to pick up the items she needed.

As every item of clothing she now owned felt, this dress robe set was no different it was buttery soft. Light in a way that wouldn't drag but enough to keep her warm when the temperature dropped later in the evening. And as per usual, everything fit her in a way she could never explain, not exactly like a second skin but she knew she would never feel uncomfortable. Bronwyn took a moment to look in her bathroom mirror after getting dressed and she noted that despite everything which had occurred at the beginning of the holiday, she wasn't sure she had ever looked better. She could see the confidence in herself, how it had grown. She would have to head out to the vanity to do her hair and makeup but it wouldn't take long considering the number of spells she had perfected this last year to make it easier upon herself. The only thing she did do was let her hair down from the loose braid it had been in whilst she slept.
