Fei stirred in her sleep, slowly drifting her eyes open as she registered the dull pain on the back of her neck. When she fully awoke and realized what had occurred, she almost hit her head against a railing that hovered above her bed. It was dark, not too dark to be unable to see in front of her, but dark enough to opaque her surroundings. Currently, she was in a damp and dull cell, nothing but a bed and a side room for restroom purposes. She looked at her wrist to see cuffs around them, already inferring they were chakra cuffs, limiting her abilities to fight back against anything.

‘Why am I here…? What do they even want from me to just take me then?’ She asked herself, looking at the torches that dimly lit her cell room. She thought about using her water body to escape, but she had no idea how to roam this place. Besides, she already felt exhausted, so she must've been out for a while now if her chakra was that drained. Plus, she wanted to know what exactly they wanted out of her. Some intel for all this trouble. After waiting for what felt like an hour, someone came in.

“Ah... You're finally awake, I see. I wasn't expecting such a hassle when taking you away. Must be nice to have people care about you that much.” Fei narrowed her eyes at the boy with glasses.

“Why am I even here? I'm not anything special, and I doubt you want me to have playdates with Sasuke. What's going on?”

“All in due time, Fei. First, we need to have a little orientation as to how things are like here. It's not all fun and games like in the village, we have to toughen you up a little more. So, let me reintroduce you to someone you've been eager to meet again.” She winced as she saw the door open. The maroon haired boy immediately made his way towards her, a deep aura of heat filling the room as he did so. To Fei, it was the presence she was most familiar with: angry, bitter, and frightening. He had a snarl on his face as he eyes glowed a deadly yellow. She backed up a bit as he approached, his hands harshly grabbing the bars of her cell, turning them a bright yellow.

“You… It's almost silly to see the likes of you confined to a cage. I'd much rather see you dead…” he snarled, gripping the bars tighter as she looked at him, a genuine fear present in her eyes as he spoke. That seemed to set him off more, causing him to shout out, “Don't you dare look at me like you have any emotion! You'll only feel that once I get my hands on you!!” The boy attempted to pry the bars open, harsh creaking being heard as they began to budge, causing Fei's eyes to widen. The boy was promptly stopped by Kabuto.

“Don't, remember what she can do for us. You'll get your chance once we find out what to do with you.” The maroon haired boy looked at her before sighing, roughly pulling his arm away from the boy.

“Very well. Then I'll see you very soon, Fei,” The boy then let go of the railings, but not before giving it one last swing of his clawed arm, the terrible sound causing Fei to wince.

“I'll talk with you soon as well, Fei, as there's some things Lord Orochimaru wants from you too. Hope you enjoyed the little surpirse.” Kabuto mocked, a fake smile on his face.

Once they were gone, Fei collasped in her cage, clenching her heart. This is bad, really bad. She was already mere inches from dying there, and yet, no information was given as to why she was there in the first place.

“Fuck… I'm going to die here.”

Kasumi (or Clair as she falsely called herself) sat near the frozen waterfall: the one close to the site in which Fei first fell through. Coming back here of all places; it was the last thing she ever wanted to do. Yet here she is: following the final words of the priestess, passed down by the goddess herself. No matter what happened to her beloved Fei, she was not allowed to interfere. No matter how dangerous the situation was for her daughter, she couldn't go in to save her. The only time she can is when she's interacting with her own blood, that being herself. Who else of the Renka would interact with Fei? As far as Kasumi knew, all of them had left to move into the new world.
