“Ugh… what's that sound? It’s annoying to hear when I'm trying to sleep,’ Fei thought before she bolted upright. She heard a slight gasp beside her and before she could jump away, she heard them speak.

“Fei?” the girl stopped to look at a familiar and, frankly, welcomed face.

“S-Sakura? But how?” Fei started before looking around herself. She was in a hospital room, the annoying beeping coming from a heart monitor. She looked out the window to see the familsr landscape of the Vullage Hidden in the Leaves. She looked back at her friend to see her sitting beside her, having taken care of her while she was out. Behind Sakura, though, was a familiar blonde. He was in a gurney of his own, bandaged up, and asleep. By the looks of it, he had gotten into a tough battle, “Ohmygod! What happened to Naruto?” Fei asked as she attempted to get up, only to be pushed down by the pinkette.

“Hey! He's okay! He just depleted his chakra, so he's resting right now. He and Aite went to save you from the hands of Shiro. Naruto got into a battle with him but won. He recieved some injuries, but none of them were severe,” Sakura looked down, tearing up, “I was already devestated when Sasuke left, but when I heard you were taken too, I felt my heart rip. I had hoped that you'd come back with Naruto on the original retrival mission, but he told me you were taken by that Shiro guy." Sakura teared up, clenching her chest, "I got so anxious, Ino and I... we kept thinking about what would become of you. I'm sorry for breaking the secret with her, but with all that happened, I was so scared."

"Then, I found out that Naruto left to search for you, I felt so helpless, useless. I was so worried about what would happen to you guys, and just being here unable to do anything made me feel awful. When Aite returned with both of you unconscious, I almost lost it. I thought that maybe… something terrible happened. Lady Tsunade was able to heal you despite the attack from that guy. Right now, I'm just so happy to have you guys back again safely!” Sakura hugged Fei as she cried, Fei looked at her with teary eyes.

“I'm sorry that you felt that way, Sakura. And it's okay. I think Ino knowing about all this helps with avoiding made-up complicated stories. Honestly... I think all the rookies should know at this point. When I went out that night… I wanted to stop him. But… it turns out I got caught in a trap to be bait for Shiro. I'm really sorry to make you guys worry,” Fei apologized, hugging her back. They stayed like that for a while before Fei asked more questions.

"Where... or uh, what happened with Shiro?" Sakura shrugged, glaring at the blankets.

"Who knows. Aite and Naruto worked on retrieving you before retreating. The last place they saw him at was near the village border. I just hope he stays gone."

“Yeah..." Fei murmured before shaking her head, "Hey, hey! So Naruto and Aite teamed up to save me? That's something I've never expected! Those two fight like kids sometimes! But I'm super happy that it worked out! How is everyone? And where's Aite?”

“Oh, he's talking with Lady Tsunade right now. She's not exactly happy with either of them. Naruto's lucky he's asleep. They both went against her direct orders as Hokage.” Sakura admitted as she glanced at the blonde with worry.

“Say what?! But they got me without issue, right? So it's okay, right?! I know it was reckless, but I don't want them getting in trouble because of me!” Fei exclaimed as she hopped out of bed. She was surprisingly well despite what had occured. Sakura looked at her confuaion and explained.

“Right, I forgot to tell you. Milady healed you but found that you wouldn't really need much assitance from her,” Sakura furrowed her brow, “It seems that the steam that was used on you was a healing agent, a non-toxic variant. It places you into a momentary sleep until you're completely healed. To which you wake up feeling refreshed.”
