After 2 Months Of School

It was really boring. Every day the same stupid faces, the same stupid things. Nothing really happened and most of the people here just were uninteresting. Sometimes I felt like I was surrounded by goldfishes. At least I've got a few contacts now, mostly from the volleyball team. Some of the girls are really nice and Sasha, a boy who always eats lunch with us, could actually get me some Marijuana. It wasn't the best but he was a kind and flattering person, always knew when to make nice comments about your outfit our just brighten your day. He was also the only more or less handsome guy I talked to.

Levi was doing better than me. I guess it's because he's already a senior, sometimes friends of him hang out with him in the living room. I never invited anybody over; it was the last piece of me that I could have just for me. Not that I never met anyone but my room still reminded me of Chicago. The skyscrapers and small houses, the busy streets and the basketball courts. Mom loved it in Newbury Park. Good for her, I always toughed, and then continue to dream about moving out as soon as I could. School was lame, but at least I wasn't bullied by anyone. One reason for this is probably that I was invisible for most of the people. Did my homework, took the tests and that was it. I was the living concept of If you don't talk to me first, I won't talk to you. Until now it worked perfectly.

"What are you up to this weekend?" Madison asked me after the last period on Friday.

She was kind of my best friend, about my height with beautiful, brown locks, a gorgeous face and legs that seemed to go on forever. For me, one of the prettiest girls in the whole town. Besides that she was intelligent and we often talked about to make a difference in the world, to be someone. It was nice knowing that really not everybody was a small minded fool here.

"Just school stuff I guess" I said as we walked down the hall to the exit.

"Come on Alex, you've always done "school stuff" on the weekends till now, let's go shopping on Saturday." Madison suggested and I agreed.

"Maybe you're right... Let's meet at your house at three on Saturday, okay?"

"Perfect" She smiled and then we said goodbye and went different ways to get home.

As I opened the front door I heard people talking in the living room. Mom had said that she'd be late tonight so I guessed Levi's friends where here. I knew a few of them but we barely had contact. Sometimes when they already where high I'd join them and get some of the stuff myself, knowing that they wouldn't mind. Music was playing in the background and I could already smell the Marijuana but I was too exhausted from the week and got assignments to do so I just went upstairs to get to my room. At least they weren't loud or rude. I always respected it when Levi wanted to be alone with his guys and he never interrupted when my friends were over.

After I went up the stairs I walked down the little hall to the very last room and got in. When I was about to close the door I stopped and saw someone standing in the middle of it, looking at all the Chicago and band posters. He was wearing a black leather jacket, dark jeans and a snapback and turned around when I cleared my throat awkwardly. Who the fuck was this guy and why did he stood in my room? As I saw his face I couldn't believe my eyes. It was Jesse Rutherford, smiling like ever and looking like all of that belonged to him. As if I was the stranger. We hadn't really talked since my first day of school but I caught myself staring at him sometimes, when the periods were boring or he said something. Basically everybody did this especially in the mornings when he was standing with his gang outside of the school to smoke cigarettes and probably making fun of every student.
