/Alexis' POV/

He winked at me and I felt my cheeks turning red. This cockiness was so appealing and so cliché. But damn just hearing him purring the words got me weak.

"And now you have to tell me how the kiss in my car was for you" Jesse demanded and brought his right hand up to my throat again.

"It was so fucking pleasing because you got into it so fast. And you kissed me like I was... what's that stupid breathing quote again?"

"Do you mean He kissed her like she was air and he couldn't breathe?" I nodded and wanted to continue but the he began to frown. "I don't think it's stupid. Actually some of these Instagram quotes are adorable."

I came closer with my face again and glanced at his lips before speaking. "Maybe they are. But I'll write you better ones."

Just an inch before my lips were on his again he stopped and raised his eyebrow.

"You write poetry?" Jesse asked.

I was still looking at his mouth. Damn these lips were perfect. They'd be even more perfect when they were on mine right now. But he probably wanted an answer so I mumbled. "Poetry-ish things... my feelings and... stuff"

"You really want to kiss me right now, don't you?" He chuckled and I nodded. With his free hand he played with my hair. He seemed so chill and I hated it. This day was enough of an emotional roller coaster, I felt my body aching for him but he spoke like nothing was. "You are over the top cute."

"Could be" I breathed out.

"Look at me, Darling."

With greatest containment I stared into his brown eyes. I felt his fingers hovering over my skin at my throat and then to my mouth. His thumb brushed against my mouth and I whimpered at his touch. With a small smile I could hear him buzz "Put my finger on your mouth 'cause you love the taste."

It was just past eight PM when we got in Jesse's car again. "I don't want to go home now" I pouted at him and his lips curled up in a smile.

"Your Mom and Levi will already hate me for driving you into the wild without a warning for a couple of hours."

"So an hour more or less won't hurt" I argued and he glanced over to me.

"Are you hungry?" I nodded cheerfully before he told me that he didn't have any money with him.

"But I could sneak into my room and get some though"

"You're really taking your bad boy image seriously, don't ya?"I joked and stroked over his arm before he began to drive.

Twenty minutes later we were sitting in a booth at the back of Mary's Kitchen and looked through the menu. It was 50's style and kind of sweet I guess. Jesse put his menu down and played around with a toothpick.

"What are you having?" I asked and glanced at him. The streetlights were already shining outside and there weren't many guests here.
