It's been a while but here's the deal: After escaping the danger of those goons from DuelNet with a mysterious biker, Max learned that the biker was indeed Devin, the head and CEO of the DEVPRO corporation. They avoided any attention by going through Devin's secret tunnel located under the Glostol motorway.
As a gift, Devin took Max to the Salvation Store, where Max was able to pick out a top of the range motorcycle. Devin even took the time to teach Max how to ride the bike correctly. Max's bike was just a slight downgrade from Devin's custom build, which of course was top of the range.
Max: Man...What a crazy day. I never thought I would own my own bike! Thanks so much!
Devin: Hold up, you didn't think I would just give you this bike for no charge?
Max: Of course not! Urr, I will have to set up a pay scheme as I am not overflowing with dosh, you know?
Devin: I do not want your dosh! There is something else I want from you!
Max: Uh oh.
Devin: Nothing like that. I want you to prove yourself to the bike and myself!
Max: Prove myself? How?
Devin: I think you have an idea. This time, I will show you the true way of the DEVPRO corp! I will show you a REAL Turbo Duel!!
Max and Devin were set up to duel in a big desert plane. The sun was beginning to set so it was bathed in orange light. Both of them revved their engines and set up the duel.
Devin: Speed World activate!
The plane changed into a futuristic world, Speed World!
Unlike in other Turbo Duels you may have seen, Speed Spells are no longer a novelty, they are compulsory!
Max's deck glowed with a blue light.
Max: What's that?!
Devin: Your deck has been adjusted.
Max: What?! How so?
Devin: Relax! Your spell cards have been altered for this duel. They will now rely on speed counters and such.
Max: How do I use these speed counters?!
Devin: I think it is best if we begin and you learn as we go! Are you ready?!
Max: Y-yes! Let's do this!
Devin: Are you steady!?
Both of their bikes had the back wheel spinning.

Devin and Max: Let's duel!
Both of them sped off, aiming for the first turn. Speed World was a spiraling road branching off in all directions. Max was looking fresh in his duel biker kit and helmet with a sick visor. They were head to head.
Devin: Let's see if I have wasted my day or not by teaching you all this! You're pretty good on that bike, but you won't beat me!
Devin's bike picked up a lot of speed and pushed ahead. Max accelerated but couldn't catch up to Devin. Devin's bike pushed through the start line first, causing the first turn to begin.
Devin: Looks like I will be going first, as I thought.
Max passed through the start line and was on Devin's tail.
Devin: I begin my turn, meaning we each gain a speed counter!

Devin: I'll begin by summoning the tuner monster, Speed Demon Accelerator!

Devin's monster was called through a portal, and then it ran alongside his bike.
Devin: When summoned in a Turbo Duel, Accelerator grants me an extra 2 speed counters!

Max: Gaining speed counters through card effects? I notice before you did that I was trailing behind you, but now you are starting to speed out of reach!
Devin: Yes! Speed counters also will define how fast we can travel in this duel! Anyway, appear! Speed Demon Crank!

Devin: I can special summon this monster if I control a tuner! Now I tune my level 3 Accelerator with my level 1 Crank! Push onward and reach new speeds! Synchro Summon! Appear, Super Speed Demon Contender!!!

Max: Your speed counters increased again!?
Devin: That's right! You gain speed counters each time you synchro summon! Furthermore, when Contender is summoned, I can special summon a level 2 or lower Speed Demon monster from my deck! Appear, Speed Demon Passenger! In defence!

Devin: When summoned by a Speed Demon effect, Passenger allows me to draw a card! With that my turn comes to a close! Let's see if you can keep up!
Max: Let's see then! My turn, I draw!

Devin, followed by Max, glided by a long turn.
Devin: Don't fear the speed! Accelerate!!
Devin stood up on his bike as he reached crazy speeds. Max looked in amazement. They made it through the corner and Devin sat back down as he laughed. Max knew he would need more speed.
Max: There's only one thing to do! I summon Zer0 Evolution Wyrm!!

Max: That's right! While it is the only monster I control, Zer0 Evolution Wyrm let's me synchro summon using a Zer0 Monster in my hand! I tune level 2 Wyrm with the level 7 Cosmic-Eyes Zer0 Pendulum Dragon in my hand! Synchro Summon! Space Storm Zer0 Dragon!!

Max: Not only do my speed counters increase, but Space Storm's Atk is increased by the Atk of Cosmic-Eyes'!
Devin: A level 9 Synchro! Not bad!
Max: Next up, I place my Hell-Eyes Zer0 Pendulum Dragon in the pendulum scale so that I can use its pendulum effect! When activated, I can instantly revive a level 7 Zer0 Monster! Return to me, Cosmic-Eyes Zer0 Pendulum Dragon!!

Devin: Two impressive monsters!
Max: Battle! Cosmic-Eyes, attack that Speed Demon Passenger! Cosmic Riser!
Devin: I take no damage as Passenger was in defence!
Max: Cosmic-Eyes' effect activates! When it destroys a monster in battle, I can summon a level 7 Zer0 Monster from my deck! Come on out, Zer0 Inverse Dragon!

Max: Space Storm, you're up next! Attack that Super Speed Demon now!
Devin: Fun is over for you! When you attack Contender, not only can I negate your attack but on top of that-
Max: As if I would allow that! Space Storm Zer0 Dragon negates your monster effects during the battle phase!
Devin: What!?

Devin: You damaged me!
Max: Zer0 Inverse Dragon, attack directly with Inverse Burst!

Devin: It's been a while since I've allowed someone to deal that much damage to me in a duel!
Max: Allowed?!
Devin: Exactly. If you're done I will show you an ounce of my full power!
Max: Fine, go!
Devin: My turn, I draw!

Devin: When normal summoned, I can normal summon another Speed Demon Monster! So now I call Speed Demon Driver out!

Max: Two tuners...Wait, what the hell is that?!
Devin and Max were coming up to a section of Speed World's road that is a complete loopty loop.
Max: That's insane!!
Devin: Make sure you build up enough speed for this, Max!
Max: You're seriously ganna go through with this?!
Devin: Yes! In fact, allow me to show you another ability of the Speed World's speed counters! I give up one of my counters so that I can increase my speed for a short while! I'll need it to get through! If you lag too far behind I'll become the winner of this Turbo Duel so keep up!!

Devin began to climb the loop. Max was worried but decided he'll need all the speed he can get.

Max hit some next level speeds. As he reached the start of the loop, he saw Devin reaching the bottom of the loop on the other side of the road.
Max: This is crazy but here I go!!
Max screamed in fear as he drove up the loop. He was upside down on a heavy piece of dueling equipment. But before he knew it he was the right way up again.
Max: I made it?!
Devin: That wasn't so bad, right? Good news is you're still in this duel! Bad news is you're still in this duel! Driver's effect activates, allowing me to revive Passenger!

Max: You're telling me you can get out multiple of these monsters in the same turn!?
Devin: Anything is possible!! For now I banish your Space Storm Zer0 Dragon!!
Max: Oh no!
Devin: Battle! Ultra Speed Demon Sound Breaker's max number of attacks is the number of Super Speed Demons I synchro summoned this turn! If you weren't counting, it was 3!! Attack Zer0 Inverse Dragon!!
Max: I activate Zer0 Inverse Dragon's effect, once per turn on your turn, I can reduce one of your monsters' Atk points to 0!! So say goodbye to all 3000 of your points!
Devin: If you have less Synchro monsters in your graveyard then I do, Sound Breaker is unaffected by your card effects!
Max: What?!
Devin: Also I activate the Speed Spell - Heroic Punch, this card can only be used if I have 5 or more speed counters, it reduces your monsters' Atk to 0 when they're attacked!!
