The night air outside was crisp, the city lights casting long shadows along the streets. Y/N walked aimlessly, her thoughts spinning like a whirlwind she couldn't escape. Every step felt heavier than the last, the weight of everything she had just faced pressing down on her chest.

The arguments, the tension, the words shared between Bakugo and Todoroki—it was all too much to process. She had wanted to get away, to find some clarity, but she only felt more confused than ever. There were moments, fleeting ones, where she thought she knew what she wanted, but now? Now, it felt like she was stuck in the middle of something she didn't understand.

As she walked, her mind inevitably drifted back to Todoroki. His cold demeanor, the way he'd distanced himself from her... It hurt, more than she wanted to admit. But it wasn't just the distance that stung. It was the feeling that she wasn't enough for him. That despite everything they had shared, despite the quiet moments when he'd let down his guard, she wasn't the one he needed.

But Y/N couldn't shake the pull that Todoroki had always had over her. There was something about him that had always fascinated her—the way his icy exterior hid something so much deeper. She had always felt like there was a part of him, a vulnerable side, that only she could see. And yet, it was that very side that he kept locked away from everyone else.

She needed answers. She needed to know where she stood, whether she was just another part of his past or something more. But how could she confront him after everything that had happened? After the way he'd shut her out?

Without realizing it, Y/N found herself standing outside his apartment building. Her breath caught in her throat, and for a moment, she just stood there, her heart thudding in her chest. She hadn't meant to come here. But her feet had carried her this far. She couldn't turn back now.

Taking a deep breath, she stepped forward, the cool night air biting at her skin as she made her way to the door. She raised her hand to knock, but before her knuckles could make contact with the wood, the door swung open.

Todoroki stood there, looking as calm and collected as ever, though his eyes flickered with something she couldn't quite place. It was as if he had been waiting for her.
